Lovely book, asks the questions children often ask about God. I love the simplistic honest questions and the honest yet simple answers given in return. Beautiful artwork throughout. My favorite kind of picture books. Simple yet profound substance and beauty to draw you in and add to the pleasure of read alouds.

This story reminds us that God "owns pets" and knows us all, and is the master painter (and therefore, if you're a painter, and you'd like some help, you can ask THE painter to help you with your art).

The illustrations are so gorgeous. Wow!

A beautiful book with wonderful water colors and delightful thoughts from a child's perspective. "Does God know how to tie shoes?" is only one question of many answered in this sweet story.
