This is a lovely little textbook on Media Studies. It is really focused on the undergraduate market – and would make quite a good textbook for a semester course on the subject. What I liked most about it was that while it covered all the usual topics of Media Studies, it did this by reference to short passages from texts or even newspaper articles (there is even a part of a speech from HRH Prince Charles reprinted here).
