Collection of letters by an energetic and creative mom of 4 boys during the 50's, 60's and 70's in Madison describing their life full of school, scouting, owning a small business, and family time. It was fun to read about things happening in places that we know(in fact, the last time I drove down Old Middleton Rd., I found myself trying to guess where their house would have been!). Her letters seemed idealized at first, all happiness and light in a big house with four growing boys but, over the ...more
