I read The Sanctuary by Hemant Jadhav because I like books that tell me about the culture of far away places I have never visited. When I see ‘first time author’ in the description, I am always prepared to give the writer a little leeway and read past mistakes in plotting and characterization. I received a surprise, however, when I started reading Mr. Jadhav’s novel and realized that this was a writer with great talent, and with the ability to create believable characters and plotting situations

I am really enjoying this book.It is richly textured, enticing, and absorbing. the author is smooth and polished in his work. He builds strong, complex characters. The romantic angel is thought- provoking and entertaining - even when the passion is intense

The first chapter reveals a seasoned author - and he's not. This is his first book, so I am amazed. My next impression is the intelligence behind the writing. It's like reading a well-written technical journal with the adventure of a novel thr

Hello, I am a Mechanical Engineer, my passion is music (I am a guitarist) and I love reading books.

Just finished reading ‘The Sanctuary’, what attracted me to the book initially was the cover, very impressive and quite different from other Indian authors. The review was very catchy, I love history and so was very curious to know more about the 1857 Mutiny and what was it, that as the book review says..”Threatened to derail India’s independence.”

In the very first few pages, I was astonished! I fe

The book is being more and more interesting as I am turning the pages. Its amazing feeling while reading the book. It feels like you are actually watching a Movie, ‘The Sanctuary’. Its more like a motion picture in those days.
I liked qualities of vikram. There are so many things one can learn by reading this book. I specially like the way Azgar Ali tried to convince vikram about how the business should be done, which is in fact true in India though it is a big flaw of the system.

Good job He

Lovely Book! I had never heard of this author, picked it up by chance and found it to be very good. I found it different from other Indian authors, the style of writing is like writers of foreign books, like Richard Bach.
Very engrossing and I didn't feel like putting it down. in some parts, the writer has written very beautifully, especially when he writes about nature. The suspense is breathtaking and the story ends with such a surprise, i had to go back to certain parts of the book to read hid

I happened to read the novel, The Sanctuary, by Hemant Vasant Jadhav. It's just been released.

The plot is fascinating and starts off at the place we all love and hold close to our hearts - Shooting Sports. It tracks the journey of an aspiring national level shooter, Vikram Shekhawat, who inherits by chance, a vast estate that holds a past that's sinister and gilded at the same time. The early part, including a jilted love affair, sets up the stage for the actual trial of the young lad who shoul

For me, the ultimate way to spend my time; is camping out in the wild (the wilder the better), with my best friend (Rambo, well, he is a dog, to me not!)With a damned good book, curled inside my sleeping bag next to a campfire.
From time to time, when the light grows too dim, on account of the fire dwindling down. And in between the tossing of sticks and awaiting for the flames to illuminate me.
