The beginning was very confusing - too many people/names, no warning that there was a change of point of view, references to past events. But I'm glad to stuck it out. I think it would be a four-star book if the author could somehow make it beginning of the book clearer.

I really enjoyed this book. It's a good old fashioned bodice ripper with a lot of action and some intrigue. The heroine is likeable and stereotypically strong. Great romantic read for a rainy afternoon.
