This is one of those cases where I should remember what my mother says "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all". However, given that reading this book is all my Mum's fault I am going to bypass her advice and give some feedback.

My dear mother came for a visit to babysit my kids for me while I went to work and she left behind 5 M&B books for me (Wow - four more of these reviews to come!). I think she worries about me reading too many textbooks and th

Shari Lacey has recently had her share of hard knocks. She determines to pick herself up and never fall for that trope again. Recently dumped Luc Valentin was looking for his devious cousin when he comes across a very intriguing woman. Feeling the sparks fire between him and Shari, they explore it all in one night, only to find that there are repercussions to their passions. Will Luc be able to convince Shari that she can trust him when he can’t seem to open up to her?

this book was just bad. like really really bad. if you want read this, read for your risk but remember, you cant unread book. the girl almost put her baby in risk fpr a exam that nobody would ask for. I kind liked the guy, he was nice and I felt that it was too much instalove but for more Luc was nice, the girl make me hate her. I just slap her in the face and tell her to stop acting like a child, picking fights with Luc just because she could. It was not good, not funny, she have to much angrin ...more

The Night That Started It All by Anna Cleary is a sweet and heartwarming story; her heroine Shari may just be someone you can relate to easily.

Shari Lacey is a children’s book author and an artist. Although she has only sold one book so far she hopes to sell more. But after her recent fight with her ex-fiancée she doesn’t want to see anyone, especially let anyone see her, but she has to go to her brother’s birthday party where she will have to mingle, see and be seen, even if it is in disguise.R

I'm not too sure why I didn't review this one because I read it back in Dec 2012. The hero and heroine end up hooking up and getting knocked up. The hero was screwed around by his past mistress and he isn't too sure how to feel about the heroine. Eventually things settle but the heroine decisions are up in the air because of the hero keeping many things to himself.

Quite a nice, heartwarming story. Shari is not a typical Presents heroine, which is quite refreshing. Both hero and heroine are relatable, though the editing could have been better. Conflict at some point felt a bit contrived, as if only smeared out to reach the word count.

All in all, an entertaining read.

I really enjoyed this book - nice to see a Presents story set in Paris. I find Anna's writing style to be unique and I easily fell into the story and was cheering the characters on.

Simplemente no lo lean.

I found the heroine of this book particularly endearing - for instance, although she was in Paris with her hot, billionaire lover, she just wished she could have vegemite on her toast!
