In Wayne’s romantic intrigue novel, Dallas defense attorney Leif Dalton was born to defend children. When his teenage daughter wants to visit his father at the Dry Gulch Ranch, Leif reluctantly returns to the ranch. But when veterinarian Joni Griffin lands in a stalker’s path, staying close is his only option. With a serial killer in hot pursuit, Joni and Leif team together as the danger and passion flare.
