This is a killer who is doing the work of God, or at least that’s the message that is being given since each body is laid out in the form of a cross with a bible on each one. But what do these victims have in common? That’s what Troy Evans is trying to figure out before any more women lose their lives.

Wages of Sin was a moderately fast-paced detective novel interspersed with chapters that didn’t seem to have anything to do with the mystery. However, it became clear later one that these chapters

"Wages of Sin" is a Christian suspense novel. While this novel is the first in a series, it did contain some characters from the author's previous book, "In Times of Trouble." This story did not spoil the mystery element of "In Times of Trouble," and you don't need to read that story to understand this one.

The mystery in this story had clues that pointed toward whodunit, and the rush to save a loved one from the killer was suspenseful. However, the beginning (at least, in the Advanced Reader Cop

I received the book for free through Goodreads First Reads.
Overall, this was a pretty good book. I definitely enjoyed it and found myself trying to piece together the clues to figure out "who-dun-it". There were some moments of writing that weren't as clear as I would have liked to see, but it didn't distract me enough from the story to change my enjoyment. I would (and have!) recommend it to others and will gladly read future novels by Yolanda Tonette Sanders. I was appreciative of the way the

Mystery meets the Word. Troy is a determined police detective that can't solve a rash of murders. This serial murderer continues to outwit the police when tragedy hits close to him. Troy is removed from the case and everything starts to unravel. Will Troy be able to solve the case before another person is killed? Definitely a page turner that will keep you guessing until the very end.

I really enjoyed this book. it surprised me that I liked it as well as I did. usually Christian suspense novels don't hold my attention but this one proved me wrong. I could not figure it out and it was not as predictable as I thought it would be. yolonda tonette Sanders will be added to my favorite authors list.

Absolutely loved this book! It had it all, mystery, great characters, moral issues, real problems, christian reference. I can't wait for the next book in this series. I liked that the characters from her past novels are kept alive in future book even though I haven't read any of them.

The storyline surrounding the serial killer was very well written and kept me guessing (which I like). However, the romantic side of Troy and Natalie was too much information for me in a Christian novel. I give 3 stars for the serial killer storyline.
