A fun volume with some cute stories. Though the bratty niece of Himeno's annoyed me a lot, even though she was nice in the end. There was also a really strange short story at the end with regular humans, a dog that had a human face and an abusive mother and other sad and chilling stuff that turned out happy in the end.

I don't know what to make of the short story at the end. It was like if someone stuck one of L.M. Montgomery's more mature themed short stories at the end of an Anne Shirley novel.

4.5 stars! I have decided to continue reading this manga. It is a bit awkward/weird at times, but still quite good. :D

Second book in what can be described best as alternate-world slice of life. In this world, the basis for intelligent life had six limb, not four, and it gave birth to a wild variety of species. This one was rather strange. I still liked it, but it was strange.

Once again, Murayama-sensei puts way to much thought into this universe, explaining just how evolution got the world that way as opposed to how our world turned out.

There's more "wait what?" type situations, though in this case the "wait what?" situations tend to be more with some odd artwork choices (the mer-people's legs split at the waist, then rejoin, but it doesn't seem to be fan service, so I'm confused) and world building c

I liked this volume a lot more than the first. The stories are a lot less awkward, a lot better actually, the world building is still great, but not enough to fully redeem this to me.

To keep this simple it's an okay book, but I'm really glad I got it from the library instead of buying it.

This series continues to be awkward/uncomfortable with its weird Lolita jokes and excessive body humor, but the art is still awesome and the world-building is interesting!

still not sure what the through-line is on the protag's personal development. but it is still cute.

It was cute, but not as strong as the last installment. It became a bit of an "info dump"
