Tycoon Warrior is a book by Sheri Whitefeather in the Texas Cattleman’s Club: Lone Star Jewels series. Dakota Lewis, ex-soldier, is still involved in dangerous missions. And it was during such a mission that his wife, Kathy left him. But she has never told him why, and she is beginning to feel guilty about that. For one thing, she still loves him. For another, she might just be asking something of Dakota that is unreasonable. This is a somewhat tedious romance that pivots on the lack of communic ...more

Dakota Lewis is waiting for his wife to come home...it's been 3 years since she left the house and walked out on their marriage. No reason given, she just quit. Kathy is nervous about being back on the ranch, a place she loves with the man she loves. But this return trip has nothing to do with the two of them and everything to do with the mission. Can they rewind time and convince everyone that they are just as in love today as they were before. The mission depends on their ability to do so. It ...more

So I read this out of order. But it was a reunion. Dakota is the warrior of the title, half Commanche and married to red-headed Kathy for five years. But they've been living apart for three of those years after a miscarriage while Dakota was away on a mission.

In all those three years, she didn't tell him why she left. Hoping that he would decide she was more important than his work.

Dakota carried on with his work, not knowing why. Until they had to work together on a mission.

This was a story ab

I read this book from the end of the series without reading the others. It was a good book that u could read on its own and not in a series. I did find myself getting bored with the constant I live u but can't be with u attitude of Kathy and Dakota up n down about what he wanted from Kathy and life in general. Ok HEA. really like the mentor programme in book where kids that don't have parents are mentor by a person with their close ancestry, like Dakota being Comanche.
