Saints alive / Anne Stuart

When Shannon Donnelly met divorce lawyer Patrick Lockwood in a crowded courtroom, the attraction was inexplicably instantaneous. They were complete opposites - him cynical, her sentimental - but there was no denying that sudden sizzle. What they didn't know was that they were pawns in a love-or-lust contest between Saint Valentine and Eros.

Overall I gave the book only 3 stars because only 2 out of the 4 stories I could actually finish reading.

Anthology of four stories:

'Saint's Alive' by Anne Stuart
Fifteen pages in and I'm loathing it. The main characters were picked because they loath each other and it's a contest between Saint Valentine and Eros (aka Cupid) to see who/if they can get them together in a love-or-lust contest. Most definetly not my type of story so skipping it.

'Chocolate Kisses' by Judith Arnold

Loved this book when I was younger, mostly holds up.
"Saints Alive" by Anne Stuart has the sister of a divorcee and the divorcee's husband's lawyer trapped on an island by Cupid and St. Peter who are arguing whether passionate love or romantic love is better at creating relationships.
"Chocolate Kisses" by Judith Arnold always struck me as a little absurd. A caterer almost runs down her client's brother (read here:wealthy her) and wrecks all of the food she needed for the party. He helps her get e
CHOCOLATE KISSES by Judith Arnold (a novella re-released in ebook format-CHOCOLATE KISSES

I really wish there was a 1/2 star rating this book would merit a 2.5 if only because of the frustrating and obnoxious female lead.

CHOCOLATE KISSES is a short story originally released in the anthology My Valentine. With the advent of the e-reader revolution, many authors are re-releasing their older stories in ebook format. Chocolate Kisses is the re-release by Judith Arnold

This review is for Little Charms by the very talented Anne Mcallister.
I was charmed by this little gem of a novella, by the great plot, the likeable characters and by Anne Mcalliste's trademark humor.
Badboy turned NFL's best wide receiver playboy, a prissy school teacher, a class of matchmaker 2nd graders, a bracelet full of little charms, each one sent to Jane by a secret admirer on Valentine day since she was in 2nd grade. Each charm related to an event in her life. Its easy to guess the ide
