Shelves: fantasy
Billy isn’t exactly your shiny-happy kid. He slams doors. Sasses his mom and her boyfriend. But I really like that about him. He's a real kid, going through some real stuff, and he's written so that we empathize with him - and so will a modern kid. You can't blame him - I mean his mom isn’t such a treat, either.
