Thirty and single? Getcha ass to the Gathering!

Ugh. Gabriella Wickham thought turning thirty was bad enough, but now she’s been invited (ordered) to attend this year’s Gathering (werewolf speed dating). Having a Mark on her arm means that she’s one of the few human women destined to mate with not one, but two Alpha werewolves. Thank goodness werewolves don’t come in “ugly.

Is there a typo because i thought Scarlet men names were Keller and Madden! Why are they saying Keller and Garron? I thought Garron was one of the wolves that got killed earlier in book 1! The book was okay the name change was throwing me off. Jack was killing me with that back and forth mess. Scarlet was hilarious she is taking that ruling alpha mate to the max! lol. I'm really interested in Whitney's story since she is not marked. The warden's know the deal but they haven't told her yet.

I enjoyed this book. Gabriella was tough and sweet. Her alphas Berke and Jack came with their own drama. Berke was sweet, where Jack was rough. They overcame their past to be with Gabby. Gabby grew into a strong Alpha female by the end. Their story came full circle. Growing and changing for each other. They had great chemistry, passionate love, hot sexy time. I recommend this to all wolf/erotic readers.

"A single word pounded through her mind: blood. Six letters, a single object." Really? Last time I checked blood has 5 letters.
Also the Ruling Alphas are called Keller and Garron in this book. Pretty sure it was Madden in the last one and Garron was one of the challengers...

(Sep) 3.5* This picks up right where the first book, Scarlet, left off. Gabriella is Marked - a mark at birth indicating that she is the Mate of a pair of ruling Alpha wolves. She's not thrilled with the idea, and adding in her insecurities about her weight, just wants to get through the meeting where Alpha pairs sniff out their fated Mate. Berke and Jack are the Captain of the Guards and Lieutenant, respectively. Blood brothers since they were little, Berke gets one whiff of Gabriella and knows ...more

GABRIELLA (Alpha Marked #2) by Celia Kyle

GABRIELLA is the second storyline in Celia Kyle’s erotic paranormal BBW Alpha Marked romance series focusing on Scarlet, Gabriella and Whitney Wickham-fraternal triplets and potential mates to shape-shifting ruling Alpha pairs. A bit of a warning, this series contains M/M/F sexual situations.

The premise of the novella length storylines is the festival of The Gathering- a speed dating (of sorts) where marked human females (who have not been claim
Your past will always be with you, your parents mold you and you do take some traits after them. Jake think he will be just like his father. In thinking that he cuts himself off from his own fate as a Alpha and a mate. Burke a captain of the Reining alphas and best friend of Jake, will have his work cut out for him, not only making Jake see how wrong he is but also showing Gabby that they both want and love her. Gabriella (Gabby) a feisty got to love her type of girl, with some added curves she ...more
Gabriella Wickham knows it is her duty as a rare human marked to become mate to an Alpha pair, but her heart is currently not in it. The speed dating which is more like a scratch and sniff is taking it's toll, but she has no clue that Berke Davis is her mate. The hitch in the pair is his best friend Jack who refuses to believe he is part of the pair. Verbally announcing his rejection of Gabriella ends up turning the whole process upside down, not to mention he has a royally pissed off mate.

These stories definitely need more depth and meat on the bones.

Thats what these feel like the bones of a story. Its a great short outline fitted into one day.

I was hopping that this would be longer than the first... some authors do that to the first or 0.5 of a series. However if you want a fast paced read here it is.

Was almost as funny as the 1st book! Scarlett held it down. With her character it would have been kind of boring.
There a big typo with the author calling one of the Ruling Alpha -Garron. Garron was an Alpha that the Ruling Alphas killed in the first book.
So much better than the first. Gabby was funny and it was nice to finally Jack, realize what he'll be missing. And Hannah, I wish there was more of a closure, she sucked. Moving on to book 3, I think it'll be more interesting than the last two.

Second of trilogy. A little more plot, but still disappointed no-interaction between the males.....finding it difficult to understand why the bond is only via the female....

This is a shapeshifter Menage book, the second book in the Alpha Marked series, it can be read as a stand alone, but I have to read the next book. Usually the first book in a series is the best one, but I was pleasantly surprised because I liked this book much more. Thou not as erotic, yes there is still sexual activities going on in there, so readers be aware, ha. For me this book was more entertaining and I was laughing through the whole story. Engrossed from the first paragraph, I finished ...more
Quick, short read! It’s been a while since I read Scarlet, so I was afraid I’d be a bit lost...thankfully, the story gave enough information to remind me about the premise without going overboard and I could enjoy getting to know Burke, Jack, and Gabby!

If you would have asked me if I thought I could love this book more than book one I would have said no! But Author Celia Kyle did it again! This book rivals book one with the hilarious one-liners and snarkiness. I was in tears yet again! Gabriella has brains to back up her snarky bad self.

One of my favorite things about this series is that all the ladies are not size twos. They are average woman with all the insecurities that go along with them.

This is the second in the Alpha Marked series. Gabriella’s story is just as witty and smexy as Scarlet’s (Book 1). Recap: Gabriella, along with her sisters just turned thirty; on the day of their birthday they’ve been summoned to attend the Gathering where they’ll be mated with two Alpha werewolves. Whereas Scarlet’s story was a direct with the attraction from Scarlet to the guys and the guys to Scarlett, this one has some bumps and hiccups along the road.

I'm not sure why Ms. Kyle felt the need to make this a series of separate short stories rather than incorporate them all into one novel or at the very least a compilation. My biggest complaint about the first novel, Scarlet, was that it was too short. Yet, in comparison to Gabriella, it felt like a full-length book.

Maybe Ms. Kyle was unsure as to how to proceed with this story. After all, how many ways can one say that an Alpha is Alpha? But, because she did such a good job with the p

This is the first book I have read by Celia Kyle and I have to say I quite enjoyed it. It was a quick read but didn’t lack for substance. The characters had surprising depth for such a short book. Jack was our tortured soul who feared that he would succumb to the same brutally that his father did. His father ended up massacring pretty much his entire village. Jack and Berke are best friends and are meant to be an Alpha pair, but Jacks past has held h

Second installment of this fabulous trilogy. I will admit to one-clicking it right from the eInkSlinger's newsletter the second I saw it was released. I'm shameless. I've been waiting for this book since I read the last word of the first book. I stayed in bed, read it cover to cover, and yes, I am now ready (past ready) for the third book (though I'll cry ugly tears when the trilogy is over!) -- It is easily earned a place on my "will read again" shelf here on Goodreads.

I’m in love with the Alpha Marked series. I just wish they were longer so i could have more time with the characters. Oh the characters! They are instant love :D

I am loving the speech of use the characters uses, it’s down to earth, slang, completely like any real person would use today, it made me feel a lot closer to Gabriella. I could imagine myself being friends with a woman liker her. She is funny, witty and have a cool personality.

I have to say I was thoroughly pleased with this short read, My only complaint was that I wish it had been longer.

But this book starts off with our heroine sitting at a werewolf speed-dating table, but she isn't waiting for men to start talking to her, no she is waiting for them to sniff her and then either move on or possibly jump her bones? This was a very entertaining way to start off the story because it gave us the readers an idea of how Gabriella was feeling and what she thought about th

This is the second book and it was good. I enjoyed the way Scarlet kept popping in giving her funny commentaries. (Hint) This continues throughout the series and it will make you laugh.

Book 2 of the Alpha Marked series centers on Gabriella, the "middle" of the Wickham triplets with Berke and Jack her destined mates in this shifter erotica MFM manuscript. It continues seconds after the Scarlet book; technically it is a stand-alone, but the first three books of the series each happen on a different day of a three-day convention.

I found the resolution with Jack both too long and too quick - too long to find out what his issues are and how they affect him and Berke and too quick f

I received this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review.

I love the Wickham sisters. I fell in love with Scarlett's attitude and the relationship between her and her sisters so couldn't wait to read more. I was not disappointed.

Gabby is sassy and full of fire although she is being pushed to her limits by being at the Gathering. She is having to sit through werewolf speed dating when all she can think of is the gorgeous Captain of the Guard. How does this work though as he's no

Starting this book I did not realize it was book 2 of the series, it honestly didn't matter because the book sucked me right in and explained enough about the sisters and their mates that I could not tell I was on book 2 (I actually bought book 1 and read it when I finished this book). Gabby is such an awesome female lead, she has spunk and stands up for what she believes in. Knowing she is at the Gathering, which is like Speed Dating for humans & wolves, to find her mates doesn't make the ...more

Gabriella is the second book in the Alpha Marked series, while it can be read as a stand alone I would recommend reading book 1 first just to get the most from the story.

The Wickham triplets are 30 that means as marked they must attend a gathering to see if their Alpha pair of werewolves is there waiting for their mate. With her sister Scarlet already mated at this gathering Gabriella must attend everything alone, she is less than thrilled with the idea.

Berke has been part of an alpha pair but
