I've read other work by this author, but I wasn't sure what to expect when I started reading this one.... after all, the cover is a big marijuana plant.

The story is told from the point of view of 16-year-old Tanner. Her family is rich because they own a chain of pharmacies that sell legal marijuana - legal in the state of Colorado that is, but not legal federally.
