Joe's book, The Lost Letter is an amazing book! I could not put it down. There was so much going on in it but surprisingly easy to follow. He uses such in depth detail to draw you in and keep you captivated. When a book has a lot of detail, to me, it can be difficult to follow at times. Not with Joe's books! His detail is so precise and so exact that it draws you in deeper. A very exciting book. I love how Joe writes! Ready to start book three now. Joe is a great writer! This book is a must ...more

I thoroughly enjoyed Joe's first book. It was so captivating that I couldn't put it down! The detail, edge of your seat suspense, and even a little romance were very enjoyable and kept me wanting to read on to his next book. Joe's second book, The Lost Letter, was great too! I love how he keeps you captivated by his detail. What I like is that there are no boring or slow moments whatsoever. Both books a must read! Joe is an excellent writer!

One of the most interesting first books of an author I've read in years.
I thoroughly enjoyed the pace and detail. It is quite obvious the writer
has a good story to tell and does not have to fill in with foul language
or sex details. He leaves that up to the readers imagination.
Thanks for 2 good books in this series, I'm patiently waiting for book 3.

I have known Joe Shumock for many years...as a very astute CPA. I just finished reading his third thriller and I could not put it down. I have to wonder who the "real" Joe Shumock is...but I know he is an amazing author. I highly recommend all three of his books in The Letter Series.

We found Joe's books to be very interesting from start to finish - it is hard to put down. So often, you have to read half or three fourths
of a book before it become interesting. The books are well written
without a lot of gobbley gook and foul language.

What an amazing book! I couldn't put it down. I can't wait to read the second and third. Joe has an amazing way of keeping you at the edge of your seat, wanting to know more, and you can really relate to the characters.

The first of Joe's letter series and it was a thriller. I honestly could not put it down and read to 2 in the morning. A great book written by an amazing author.

Joe Shumock always wanted to be a writer, but his life’s journey didn’t afford him the opportunity until after he retired. That journey, however, took him to places that would become the backgrounds for his murder mystery, A Letter to Die For, the first book in a planned series. Locations such as New Orleans are near and dear to the author’s heart. In Joe’s first book the lead character, Cary Anne ...more
