This was such a great little story. Ben and James have been involved for 10 years but secretly because they're actors and not out. As a favor to a friend they're working on a project together and a tabloid picture of them kissing is released that could change things between them forever.

Although this is short, only 33 pages, I really got a feel for the characters and their relationship was a rich one, very sweet and loving and hot, hot, hot. I loved these guys together.

Only 33 pages but it was really good. Two celebrities who carry on a secret ten year affair to protect their careers, only to have it all come crashing down after they have their photo splashed on the cover of a magazine. Kinda hard to explain that passionate kiss, but maybe this is the opportunity to come out and stop hiding, is...and it was great.

3.5 - short, but really enjoyable.
3.5 stars

Quite a pleasant read.

Since Ben and James were already together for the past ten years -- the conflict came from external source instead of internal. They were quite solid throughout. It was nice to see how this established couple decided that the tabloid picture kissing was a chance to end their hiding from the world, instead of fighting to deny it or sorts.

PS: Baby patrol saw the word "baby" as endearment. Not exactly happy with that

Two actors have loved each other for 10 years, but the strain of keeping it quiet, having long distance relationship and not giving their relationship away is starting to get to them, or at least to one of them.
Despite the premise, it is actually a sweet and angst free story, that I enjoyed.

Short and delicious! A M/M romance short at it's finest. Highly recommended.

3.5 - 4 stars.
This is a hot little number. I wouldn't say it was sweet but it is romantic. James and Ben definitely have it bad for each other and result is fireworks. Very enjoyable, quick read.

James and Ben fell in love ten years ago in acting school. For the sake of their careers, they have stayed closeted. While doing a favor for a friend, Marcus, they are betrayed by Marcus himself. He sees them kissing sends a picture of them to a tabloid. Ben and James see this as the perfect opportunity to come out publicly and announce their love. I hated the betrayal Marcus committed just for the sensation factor it would bring his film. I wish more movie and television stars had the nerve to ...more

Very sweet and heartwarming short story.
Maybe a little overdramatic at times, but it didn't bother me much and both MCs loved each other so much it was a pleasure to read ))

Secret Smile by Cassidy Ryan is perfect; it's exactly what a MM short story should be, scorching hot and overflowing with love.

Actors Ben and James fell in love the moment they first met, over 10 years ago. Since then they've been snatching moments when, and where they can, hiding their love and relationship from the world while they build their careers. Coming together to film a s

James and Ben have been secret lovers for ten years. They had a good but closeted relationship because of their careers as actors.
They come together to help a friend in the business plus the added benefit of a week together since they've been apart 2 months and Ben can tell something is wrong with James.
Can a photo of a stolen kiss end everything they had or can it be a new beginning for them ?
This is a beautiful story of two men in love,
