With my hubby being a pilot, my kids and I frequently have to listen to all of the wonderful adventures he has visiting foreign countries around the globe. To say we are jealous is quite the understatement. We LOVE geography in our house. We own a beautiful globe that we consult on a regular basis and we have a 1961 Reader’s Digest World Atlas. It is fascinating to see how much the world has changed.

A quick-read filled with fascinating facts about many countries around the world. If you want to feel like a speck on this planet, read this book (and I mean that in the best sense of the term). Many of my students will love this one.
