Morgan Jordan is everything Ally doesn’t want—he’s a playboy from a blue-collar background, and Ally’s looking for upper-class stability. Though their relationship starts off as a one-night stand, once Ally learns Morgan is her best friend’s brother, there’ ...more

Recommends it for: Fans of YA/College-aged Romance
Not my usual cup of tea, but it was an "okay" story to listen to on my commute. The characters were fine, but I didn't fall head over heels for this book. It was a sweet and funny college-aged romance. It was predictable, but I wasn't expecting mystery or suspense, so no surprise there. In one word, I'd describe it as "cute". Not one that made much of an impression one way or the other for me.

Excited about this book! Loved the first one so much and hoping we get more of Cruise and Kendall!

Where to begin. First and foremost- save your money. This book essentially involves a girl who is bitchy, treats others like ass, only looks for men with money, and acts like an idiot. I just cannot relate to her or her thought process in making decisions. When we get the explanation for why she acts the way she does it is just not justified.

Seriously though...find another read.

Really liked Morgan and Ally together but hated the games they played. All those little "trying to make her/him jealous moves" got old, fast.

But, Morgan did have the capability to melt my heart. Loved his reaction to and acceptance of Ruby. What he did for Ally at the end... total swoon moment.

I just can't fathom why no one told Morgan about Blair sooner- What she did to Cruise and Kenny (because they knew too, obviously)... Even if Morgan wanted to make Ally jealous, he NEVER would have messed

Sadly, I had to DNF this one at about 20%. On audio the narration is wonderful from Kate Rudd & Luke Daniels. But a couple of things bugged me.

First off, Ally (the main character) vascillates between "I want him he's so hot" and "I hate him for no good reason." Hot, cold. Hot, cold. Make up your mind already!

Secondly, the scenes are really drawn out. In the beginning of the book Ally is set to go on stage as a stripper. She's going on, she's not. This is a bad idea so she's going to change h

This was such an awesome, hot, and fun love story. This is the first book that I have read by Addison Moore but it will not be the last. I loved her writing style, the story, and the characters. Someone Like You is the second book in the series but can be read as a standalone. The couple from the first book ,Kendall and Cruise, is in this book and after getting a glimpse into their story I immediately one-clicked their book.

What started out as a one night stand, Ally and Morgan don't think they

Morgan he's such a charmer, "I'm not an abductor, so it's not a problem." His grin widens and my insides squeeze tight. I take in his lean, mean body while the tat on his left arm explodes to life as a fire-breathing dragon. "In fact, I'll let you take me someplace. Hell, I'll even let you bring a weapon." His thoughts are entertaining, "could Ally have taken it? Nope. She was too busy taking things I was willing to give her, like myself. A loose smile plays on my lips because, hot damn, my ball ...more

A happily-ever-after well told.

Eeek! Someone like you left me with a very wide smile. A simple but very touching love story, this book surely captures my heart.

I like everything from the setting to the characters. This is my first book from Addison Moore and this had encouraged me to read the whole series especially that she gave me a glimpse of how fun the gang was.

Also, I would like to commend all the bitches right here. Way to go fo

Ugh. Meh. This was not a solid read for me. it's actually like 2.5 to 2.75 stars. I liked the first in the series much better. I'm not much into the whole love at first sight and there was a point I pumped the brakes a little when there was sex and drunkenness ie she was drunk and he wasn't. Anyhoo I'm glad I got this though Kindle Unlimited I would have been passed if I'd bought it.

As always this is just to let you know before reading my review that I write my reviews as I am reading so I don’t forget anything I wanted to say. So please keep that in mind when you reading this and if it seems like I am making any guesses as to what MIGHT happen this is why.

Okay so Kendall is kind of being hypocritical in this book…at first she tries to set up Ally and her brother…and now she thinks it’s a bad idea after she hears them having sex…which is what she wanted in the first place.

I adored Cruise Elton and Kendall Jordan in Someone to Love and this story picks up right after that one. Morgan is Kendall’s brother, a star baseball athlete attending college on a full athletic scholarship in Oregon. He is visiting his sister and mom in Carrington, Massachusetts. His mom is getting married to Cruise’s dad and he is here for the wedding. But on his way, he stops at the Pretty Girls Gentlemen’s Club for a few drinks.

Ally is Kendall’s friend. Life has been hard and she

Bleck. Almost comedic.

I made it almost halfway through this book. Yeah me!

The set up is a down on her luck, from the wrong side of the tracks, college student h. We don't learn nearly as much about H. At the beginning, she's working at Starbucks and adds a second job as a pole dancer (and not the exercise version). It's pretty clear that she's lazy in getting and keeping her jobs, as she relies on a relative to get the dancing job and put in absolutely no preparation work before stepping on st

Someone Like You follows Kendall's friend Ally and her brother Morgan. There's still a little bit of Kendall and Cruise in the story, but the lucky couple in this book kind of make Kendall and Cruise seem like a thing from the past.

Ally is tired of being broke and having an unfortunate life. I can totally relate to that. Her sister's solution? Become an exotic dancer. (I cannot relate to that) Which would be fine if Ally weren't so shy and clumsy. Her first night on the job, she plummets off the

I have been impatiently waiting for Someone Like You for what seems like forever, and let me tell you the wait was worth it! Addison seamlessly mixes humor and pure hotness. She can go from effortlessly making you laugh to melting your panties the next minute. I completely fell in love with Morgan and Ally. They were two very relatable characters who you rooted for, and hoped that love truly conquers all. We also get to see into the lives of Kendall and Cruise too. If you have not read Someone T ...more

Great read , this was book 2 , I read book 1 awhile ago but I won't ever forget Cruise !!

In this story we meet Morgan , Kendall's older brother. He is in town for the summer for his moms wedding. The family dynamics are insane. Kendall's mom and Cruise's father getting married and thats just the tip of the iceberg , they all intertwine somehow but it works !!

Morgan is super hot and a baseball player. He ends up having a one night stand with Ally and from the minute their worlds collide things st

Once again Addison has created a romance filled with humor, depth, heat, fun and characters you feel like you know. Is this a realistic novel? Absolutely not, which is what makes it so much more fun. Morgan and Ally connect from their very first meeting. Of course that meeting was her actually falling in his lap. Ally may go to a prestigious college, but her background is anything but and she wants nothing more then to move up in the world. Morgan is successful in baseball, but has not always ma ...more

I want my own Morgan. Where can I find a sweet man like Morgan? It's funny how all these romance stories always have one common element that connects these people. Like Morgan waiting to find out if he is a dad and ally having a baby that she had to give away. This story had the elements of jealous females all fighting for Morgans attention and the saving element where Morgan and ally find themselves in a burning building hoping to be saved so they can live there lives in the forever realm. "Someone Like You" had a great plot that kept me wanting to turn page after page. Chapter one starts out with a bang and you can't help but follow through and see what happens next.

Addison Moore created some wonderful characters in this book. Some of them you love, some you hate. When I say hate, I mean really hate. As in want to punch someone in the face through the pages of the book kind of hate. As for love, what woman doesn't love a tattooed hottie that is also kind, considerate and sweet at

Hmm... not really to my liking. I didn't realize that I had already read the first one in the series, so when I bought that and this one, I was very disappointed.

For some reason, the characters and the storyline of both books just fell flat. The characters were unrealistic and I found myself rolling my eyes a lot. I'm really surprised I finished this one.

I think it's safe to say that I judged these books by their cover and I will probably steer clear of Addison Moore's books. They just don't c

I hated the first book of this series, it was kind of stupid, illogical and not really much more than a book-porn.
This one, however, sort of surprised me, and in a good way. I wouldn't go as far as saying it was the greatest I've read, no, not at all; but no matter some seriously nonesensical parts, the main thought and the emotions produced were great. And for the first time of those few books I've read, or attempted to read, this one finally felt a little more realistic and down to earth.

3.75 no cheating, HEA. One thing that hat pissed me off was Molly. She needed a nice swift ass kicking. She's a little bitch and I'm surprised there were no consequences at all for her attempted rape of Morgan and her behavior. Her brother said nothing! That pisses me off. Anyway, it was a nice read otherwise, a sprinkle of drama with a conniving wench, Blair, and Molly with the creepy (and sometimes illegal and immoral) stalker tendencies, not to mention Dell, the gross strip club owner. Really liked this story. The first few pgs I thought it was going to be a cliche but it completely turned around.
I really enjoyed Ally and Morgan's relationship. Sometimes there's those 2 people that meet and just completely click and that was them.
Ally and Ruby's story was a great part and I liked how it ended up being explained. I just wondered why we're never told why Janice agreed to keep the name.

I received this book from goodreads first reads.

I really liked this book but not as much as book 1 in the series. I liked Ally but I loved Morgan. I just didn't understand the whole not opening up about their feelings. In one breath they both talked about wanting each other to be the one and then in their minds they were insecure about where they were with each other. I liked the story and I loved the characters and the authors wit and writing style. It was a just a little light for me but I love this author.

Really? Molly? Blair? Those two have no idea where to draw the line. I mean how hard is it to understand when a guy is not interested in you? Also Blair just doesn't know when to stop.
I really like the book and am exited about the next book even though it scares me. I mean it's about Kendall and Cruise. That means they are in trouble before their happily ever after. And I hate Blair. Well, even though I want to read that, I'm taking a breath to read Winter...

I received this book for free through Goodreads First Reads. I thought this was a sweet story, smokin' hot and steamy too, but sweet. Obviously, when you read the first page and the setting is a strip club and the main character Ally is about to go on stage, you may think not so sweet. However, nobody is perfect, and although the circumstances of the Ally and Morgan meeting are a bit unusual, it really makes for a good story.

I absolutely adore Addison Moore! She is an amazing writer and never disappoints. I am trying to patiently await each of the next installments of all her work and can't wait to find out what comes next. She is absolutely my favorite author and I hope to still be buying new books from her when I'm a ripe old age. If you have read anything by Addison you are going to love this latest work and if you haven't...well what are you waiting for lol.

LOVE Addison Moore's humor! Sometimes I feel her characters can be a little naive (I was pretty naive, but not that bad) but the rest of the book more than makes up for it. I loved seeing Allie learn that guys from the wrong side of the tracks can be good and rich guys can be jerks. I also loved the dynamic with Cruise and Kendall, with them all living in the same place! Mentions of that situation were always hilarious.
