This book was a great read, it gave me a roller coaster road through slavery, Jim Crow, to the civil rights movement. I was moved by feelings it brought forth in me. It awakened in me to a whole new part of my history. The challenges that those who were passing may have faced. Would definitely recommend it to everyone to help them get a glimpse into a part of all of our faces.
