Dying to Live is Amy Susan Crohn's testament of how childhood maltreatment manifests itself in adulthood, an issue that is now being explored more thoroughly in the medical field, as well as child advocate organizations. Amy's well written memoir takes the reader through a family experience that is unique, and sometimes humorous, and through the consequences she suffers daily because of her upbringing.

Through her family connection with one of medicine's "royals," Dr. Burrell Crohn who discovered

I just finished Dying To Live by Amy Susan Crohn. This is an awesome book and I highly recommend it. How Amy dealt with these diseases and the aftermath are remarkable. I won this book in the Goodreads giveaway and am so glad I did. Thank you Amy for sharing your story and for bringing to the forefront the research that harmful childhood experiences can have a connection to later negative health effects.

Dying to Live has the potential to be an interesting, well-told story. The book needs a good proofreading and editing. As it stands now, the abundance
