In a literary landscape often dominated by post-modern posturing and poe-biz politics, Ann Lauinger's AGAINST BUTTERFLIES reminds us of poetry's sheer pleasures--lovely language, formal diversity and inventiveness, rhythmic and imagistic alchemy.
