Summonari don’t trust. Under their command, they summon any number of creatures from the Otherwolds—but never trust them outside of the summoning.
Gargoyles don’t love. Fierce descendants of dragons, they function on power and fear—never love.

Karla isn’t the happily-ever-after type of girl. No territory-hungry guy is going to stick flags all over her unclaimed grounds.

I've read this out of pure curousity. There were parts I've actually enjoyed, parts that made me make WTF faces and parts that totally killed my reading mood. So, yeah, as much as I wanted to love this dangerous & sexy gargoyle I thought it was over the top.

Ok so first of all this is a very very different PNR book for me. I was so freaking confused in a lot of the book but the love story between these two strong and funny characters kept me reading through my confusion. The confusion had nothing to do with writing quality or style. This was just a completely new paranormal plot and type of characters. Gargoyles have always in my min

I originally received this book for review for part of a book tour but I pulled out after realising I wouldn't be able to complete the book, nor provide a positive review, and after all that is what tours are all about. I've held off until now to post my review of what I did read so it wouldn't get in the way of the tour but also because I am a firm believe that negative reviews are as helpful as

Ever wanted to reach into a book a snatch that yummy, glorious, dead sexy hunk? Might want to re-think that, especially if your genre's is paranormal or fantasy.   Karla had a rather boring and alone life. She has a best friend, a job and a house. Yeah sure it's boring but she had her books to keep her company at home. On her birthday her friend surprise her with an ARC of her favorite paranormal romance series. That night she starts reading this arc and falls asleep, yearning for one of the cha ...more

Dark, unique, and absolutely wonderful! Gargoyle Addiction was definitely unexpected and I really enjoyed it.

I love the world that the author created. Otherworlds, gargoyles, summonari, seers, dragons. It was all well built and very interesting. That was undoubtedly the best part of the book.

Karla was a good heroine. She definitely wasn't going to let anyone, even a gargoyle prince, run all over her. I found her likable, though there were some moments where I got frustrated with her. I can't pin

It started out pretty well (I was even beginning to like the heroine)but slowly detoriated into mindless sex sex sex and the characters behaving irrationally. All the time. So I guess its more of an supernatural erotica wich was a pity as I was expecting a PNR.And the erotia wasnt even very good at that.

But furthermore the author kept missing out on details like the love/lust interest has claws but yet doesnt hurt Karla when hes um...touching her in her "womanly place"

Something else that annoye

A copy of this book was provided to me as part of the blog tour, in exchange for an honest review.

I like paranormal books. I haven't read much New Adult PNR but I plan to change that after reading and loving this book. It's been difficult to write out all the reasons I love this book, so bear with me as this could get a little choppy.

Wow this book takes some interesting turns, and leaves you thinking real hard.

Book addict Karla receives an ARC for her birthday and when home can’t wait to get lost inside it. But that night she falls asleep, and with a paper cut, leaves a drop of blood on the arc, her last thoughts of the bad boy in the book and how she wants him. Unknowingly, with this, she summoned him from his world, right into hers. She wakes up the next morning and find the very bad boy she was dreaming about, sitting rig

Move over vamps, werewolves and all other oh-so-humdrum supernatural creatures....the GARGOYLES are here! Coloured skin, piranha like teeth, bulky bodies and ferociousness personified- these creatures are descended from the mighty dragons and have a preference for blood, raw meat, gory battles and deadly 'mating games'. Livia's world building was amazingly good. For one, the bad guys actually sported red skin and forked t

Lord this is my first Gargoyle book I have ever read and let me tell you I was so engrossed into this book that when I was finished I was yelling at my kindle looking for more. I have never read a book that had so many things going on at one time and it worked so well.

We get to meet Karla and Kann. They come from different worlds but love knows no boundaries and the two find themselves fighting together instead of against each other. Karla is reading a book and falls asleep

This book had me hooked almost immediately. It falls under the genre of New Adult Paranormal, but this book definitely stands on its own. For one thing, I was in love with the whole premise of the book. It started out with such a unique and captivating idea, that I was sold. And then the characters and storyline just made everything better from there.

When Karla's best friend gives her an ARC copy of a book she's been waiting for, (I know this feeling) she settles into her chair and the unthinkable happens, she meets the man she has been lusting over for 6 stories. I received an e-copy of Gargoyle Addiction from blog tour host to review for promotional purposes.

When I first laid eyes on the cover of this book I had been fascinated by gargoyles. I had just read another book about the supernatural species and was quick to want to read another book that may be even more interesting than my first introduction.

In Gargoyle Addiction, Karla is celebrating (with copious amounts of alcohol) her birthday. Her gay best friend and his smitten-with-her brother have

From the first time I saw the cover I put the book on the must-read list. Maybe some people will think that it’s a bit shallow, but I grew up in a world of image and for a first contact with a book that I don’t know, it gains importance. Regarding Gargoyle Addiction, the cover and subject match very well.

Just as the title! It is the quintessence of the subject because our both heroes must realize if the passion that they feel for each other is just a dependency induced by "rituals", chemical gen

Oh my friends, was I excited to get my hands on this book! I kept seeing it on other blogs and with my fascination with all beings supernatural, I had to read it.

What are gargoyles?

When you think of a gargoyle, you think of those scary creatures carved into stone on cathedrals and other buildings. They are used for protection.

The history behind the gargoyle:

"La Gargouille is said to have been the typical dragon with batlike wings, a long neck, and the ability to breathe fire from its mouth. The

I only had to see the word 'gargoyle' to know that I wanted to read this book. I love the paranormal genre as a rule, and I read a lot of it. However, I had never come across gargoyles before - well, not outside of the Disney film The Hunchback of Notre Dame - so naturally I was intrigued. For my first book on gargoyles, Gargoyle Addiction was amazing, and I can tell you that I am now in love with this sub-genre!

Despite coming from two completely different worlds, Karla and Kann can't help but b

Having never really read a book about gargoyles before, aside from them being big monstrous creatures that turn into stone and lurk on corners of buildings, I had no clue what they would be like or what the author would make of them. Let's just say they weren't what I was imagining!

Gargoyle Addiction was a tremendously complicated book in that the author created an entire world, or better worlds, each with their own creatures and complications that were mixed together yet completely separate (if

Gargoyle Addiction is a different kind of gargoyle book! I've not read many, but this is vastly different, a whole new world! Dragon descendants, mythical beings, a brief appearance by weres, and an explanation as to why Karla's family members keep dying before they are 35. I can honestly say, I've never read a book like this one! But i find it hard to believe that when you read the storyline! It must have been done previously, but me personally haven't read one!

Karla is a down to earth kind of girl who is pretty much addicted to books. When her favorite character seems to come to life she cant believe her eyes. Not only does her favorite book character exist but he claims that he has summoned her and the only way for him to go away is for her to get rid of him using her summoning powers. Karla and Kann instantly have a connection with each other and Kann had sealed the deal by mating with her. No one among the supernatural word is a fan of the gargoyle ...more

I was very excited to read a book about a gargoyle. I haven't found too many out there and they are a fascinating part of the fantasy world. Kann did not disappoint. He was a cold, hard-hearted hunter that was the pride of his clan. When he finds himself summoned by a "sleeper" or human as we like to call ourselves, he is very surprised. Not many would have that power. But now that he's here, he's going to make the best of it and see just what he ca do with the very attractive woman that called ...more

Fantasy gender always had vampires and werewolves into the foreground. These two characters have received huge popularity and conquered the minds of billions of readers around the world.

In this case, I left behind all kinds of characters I encountered so far and with "Gargoyle addiction" I embraced new ones. I met a new development both in action and in the relationship between the characters.
