I grew up being fed by the best cook this side of the universe – my mom. So there I am, happily wandering through the days, nose buried in a book or two or three; with not a care in the world about my next meal. It would be there, ready to eat, on a table in the kitchen.

So by now you’ll be thinking that some of those amazing culinary skills must have rubbed off. After all I live with an awesome cook. Well, you’d be wrong; very, very wrong.

I bought this recipe book for my daughter but it did not have the motivating effect I was hoping for. However, there are a few interesting recipes worth keeping so I have kept it on my bookshelf.
