I read this story in one day. It was a very easy read; nothing too complicated. I admit, I had to "get into" the story at first because I had a hard time grasping the characters and felt the beginning was too rushed. The story starts off with Alissa and Katherine, high school juniors and best-friends for life! Alissa is out-going, flirty, sassy, and talk about "boy-crazy." There were times when I simply adored Alissa. She is a great person and a great friend to Kat. Alissa cared for her so deepl ...more

I received my copy of Destroying the Wrong through the Goodreads First Reads program, so a big thanks to both goodreads and Evelyne for providing an exciting opportunity to review an enjoyable book.

I have to admit that I read Destroying the Wrong quite passively. I plodded along with the plot, following the antics of Alissa Sullivan and the other characters of her world. Now that a couple of days have past since I’ve finished reading the book, I find that the book has a slightly bitter and very

Alissa and Katherine had been best friend since childhood. Alissa got a loving family, a perfect appearance that got her a new boyfriend, Matt. Katherine had always been the supporting character in Alissa life, a loner that only wanted to stay out of the spotlight. they were counting the days until they finish high school and go to college together. but things changed when Alissa met Scott, a man that wouldn't touch her but continued luring her; and Katherine met Walt, an uneasy guy that held gr ...more

I really enjoyed this story, Was well written and the characters POV was really great. The 2 main characters each was given a POV. The story itself was great. I felt like I couldn't get enough of it. Yes it made me laugh, cry and even get really mad, This is for sure worth the read and then some. I'm going crazy just waiting to get book 2 when ever that comes out. This is one book that you will read cover to cover. It also was really great how it talked about Bullying, anymore it's a big thing i ...more

Will lust eventually turn into love?

This is a wonderful book and the author really captures both the loyalty between the two girls, Allisa and Kat, and the turmoil of their emotions as they each experience and cope with all those tumultuous things in junior/senior year of high school. There’s the bullying, which other reviewers mention, which is well done … I’d actually have liked seeing more details going deeper than what the author has provided us with on that. Then, there’s the whole dating e

Alissa and Katherine can’t wait for the school year to end. They want to graduate and get out of this school that has become a nightmare. But there are still a few months to go and Kat and Alyssa will have to navigate the reality of bullying and boys before they’ll have the freedom they long for.

Destroying the wrong has two main themes at its heart.

The first is bullying. Well done to Ms Stone for tackling such a relevant and yet difficult topic! The reality and brutality of the bullying is eye

A HUGE thank you for Evelyne for providing me with an ARC copy of this to review for the blog tour <3

This book was a fun, light-hearted YA read.

Everything you get with students whilst growing up and going through college, drama, boys and family issues.

Evelyne writes the characters so beautifully, they are one of a kind and have their own emotions and troubles whilst going through everyone else's.

Bullies, boys, relationships is what we get whilst growing up and this story takes you through thi

This book is great for young adults to read due to the subject matter. Bullying is something that is very real, and it's happening everywhere. Those who are being bullied, are the ones that stay in the background and try to stay out of everyone's way. This was the situation with Katherine. Unfortunately when things happen, the victim suffers in silence because they don't want anyone to know about it.

Alissa and Katherine are best friends. I'm not really sure how I feel about Alissa's character.

Mature YA Novel: Many Wrongs Don't Make a Right

In Destroying the Wrong, by Evelyne Stone, Alissa is happily dancing through her high school junior year. With a great best friend, a blossoming romance, and an anti-bullying cause to champion, Alissa has it all.

Alissa best friend Kat is a sensitive introvert who loves to write. She doesn't pay much attention to the outside world, let alone boys or school activities. She's happy in her cone of silence, with just Alissa's friendship.

The Disorder Alli

Alissa and Katherine are best friends. Dealing with the drama of high school, being a teen girl and just growing up in general they are a constant in each other’s lives. While Alissa begins a relationship with Matt, Katherine is on her own in the craziness that is teenage girl-dom. However, no matter the directions that their lives take, they are always there for one another as support and best friends.
Beginning this book, I thought that main theme would be bullying. While it was a large focus,

Destroying the Wrong

Alissa Sullivan and Katherine Horne are best friends who are looking forward to leaving high School and going off to College. Alissa is the more outgoing one she is flirty, and full of life, she also has a caring boyfriend Matt. While Katherine well, she is more of a loner she is happy spending her time concentrating on her writing, that is until Alissa’s brother Dillion comes home on leave, of course he is a hot guy in uniform so yeah, that would do it. They both try to avoi

First let me start by saying, I don't typically read young adult. But I took a chance on this one and I am so happy I did. Alissa and Kat the two girls who are juniors in high school are really well written. I got both of them, although, I must say I relate more to Kat and liked her better.

I really don't want to give too much away with my review, but there are swoon-worthy moments, unknown motives, situations you wish would never happen and laughter. As in life situations come together, sometim

Hard hitting and a twist on the usual books you find in the genre. It took me a while before I realize there was a twist in the way and when it came it was well worth waiting for. I really couldn't fault the plot and like the characters as well. I will definitely read another book by the author.

What I really liked about Destroying The Wrong was that I had a good book with meaningful theme. It doesn't dominate the book but I like the bullying aspect and the way the relationships developed. This was my first book by Evelyne Stone but it certainly won't be my last.

I was lucky enough to get to beta read this awesome book for this amazing author. Both her and the book are just fantastic. The characters are one of a kind with their own emotions and troubles.

I couldn't help but fall in love with Kat. She is totaly best friend material! Oh and I can't forget to mention Dillon *fans self* but hello to my dream man! But then again most of the guys are pretty swoon worthy in their own ways.

This is a book that you can't help but get hooked on. It is a ride throug

I was given this book by author for honest review. Alissa Sullivan and Katherine Horne are borderline high school graduates trying to survive the last junior senior year. Alissa is outgoing and boy crazy while Kat is shy and quiet. I have more in common and so feel in love with Kat. She’s picked on and gets into a very hairy situation of which she keeps blaming herself for, however she doesn’t let it get her down or takeover her life. And while Alissa is the best friend and goes to bat for Kat s ...more

This is a story about young love, high school bullying and bad things happening to good people.

I enjoyed reading this story. I can definitely go back to high school and relate to the main characters indecisiveness in having a boyfriend, but finding the attention of another intoxicating.

I can say that I am definitely looking forward to reading the next book in this series. Thank you so much for allowing me to read it.

First off, I was given a copy for the authors blog tour. I will say I'm glad I signed up for it. This book was extremely good. I love reading young adult books. This book shows how high school is. With boyfriends, best friends, and bullying. Alissa and Kat are best friends, they both go through alot. They showed their strengths and weaknesses. I don't want to give alot away, because I think this is a most read. It's a very believable story and the emotions between these young ladies felt real. I ...more

I had the honor of doing a BETA read. This is a great story of friendship, good & bad. High school drama, boy trouble & drugs and/or alcohol. I really sunk my teeth into the story as I really didn't have a High School experience. I felt the story was very believable and flowed well. It's been a long time since I have read YA adult and most definitely won't be my last! Can't wait for the next book! Great job, Evelyne Stone!!!!

I had the pleasure of beta reading this book and was hooked from the beginning. I was drawn into the characters and felt for them as the book went on. I even loved all those nutty boys in their own ways. I will be following Evelyne Stone as she writes more books for sure!!!

I loved this book! It grabbed my attention from the very beginning. I especially love how the characters are dealing with real life issues that many people their age deal with. I found the characters to be very believable and likeable. Can't wait for part 2!
