The school librarian got me started reading Orca books. This was the first sports book I read and I enjoyed it. I will probably read this book with my students.

Scarlet Thunder, by Sigmund Brouwer was mainly about trying to make a commercial. The story takes place in San Diego. The commercial is based on Nascar racing but they ran into a problem. One of their orders for the shoot was shipped to the wrong place and they needed that order for the commercial but they found a way to work around that problem. It seemed boring, but as it went on it kept me on the edge of my seat until i FINALLY finished.
