This book is about the relationships of three friends who have three different views of relationships/marriage. Overall it was a joy to read.
GREAT READ. Girls and girl issues are universal-just like reading about friends

Coco, Chama and Tasha. Three ladies all at different stages of their lives and relationships. And all at different stages of “getting some”. This story is told from the perspectives of these three ladies, giving you a deeper look into their life, as well as their thought process and opinions of their partners and of each other. For me, it took a while to get into the book and actually to like some of the characters.

To begin with I found Coco a bitchy and annoying women. But the more I read, the

On the surface this book is full to the brim of attitude and sexy scenarios, but once you get into it you are met with a richly woven narrative about friendship, marriage and striving to live the life you always wanted to. ‘Getting Some’ focuses on the lives of three women who have been friends for years, as they struggle to help each other while their marriages (future and present) collapse around them. The tone is upbeat and exciting, but the content tackles some serious issues that we all ...more

In "Getting Some," by Kiki Terrell, the reader is introduced to three girlfriends living in London--Coco, Tasha and Charma. Coco has a very charmed life, and uses her `powers' to get what she wants. Unfortunately, Coco has made a mistake that could lead to the deterioration of her marriage. Can her friends help her put her marriage back together? Tasha is on a quest for personal evolution. Will she achieve oneness with her man and with the Universe? Chama, a washed in the blood woman of God, ...more

Three women friends, three points of view, three stories. Getting Some follows Coco, Chama and Tasha as they juggle life and men, and their friendships with each other.
Each woman has a distinct voice and is clearly written. Each story arc has it’s own unique nuance and tone and I suspect you’ll love one of the three, be irritated by another and identify with one too. Most of us will have a friend like at least one of these three and you’ll be rolling your eyes, and laughing at the goings on thr

Sometimes We Have to Give to Get!

Kiki Terrell’s “Getting Some” is the story of three friends, Cocorella, Tasha and Chama, all living in London and going through what I would call life changing events with a lot of drama. Some of which is their own doing. Sometimes it takes giving up something to get something.

I found each of the ladies’ dilemmas to be interesting but at times just a little too much. Overall it was a pretty good novel. I did find some errors in spelling and some spacing issues an

Enjoyed this story of 3 friends who are there for each other while still dealing with their own personal demons. This books is more than just about sex, although a lot of what the women are dealing with centers around it. This was a book to make you step back and look at your own life and see where you can make improvements. Self reflection and what's best for you in the long run.
