‘Motor skills…unconnected to eye or hand…scrambling rowdily as a flock of hens trying to hatch eggs on an ice-rink.’

Little Nut Jobs is exactly how I’d describe this book of vignettes. Think Confederacy of Dunces but with less cohesion. I wasn’t sure how to rate a book with such eclectic themes but I will say I breezed through it, compelled by the writing and the raw humour.

Didn't know what I was in for when I read the author's synopsis about it being crazy and not for everybody. Have to say I never read anything like it. He was dead right though, it won't be for everyone, but fair dues, he does clearly state that these little pieces were only written for his own amusement and not to even bother if you don't have a sense of humour. Fortunately, that's something we're not short of around here, some of these had us in absolute fits. These were a bit like one of those ...more

Shelves: sucky
It's as if the author took his dreams and then added even more crazy shit to them. I could not finish reading it. It's a good thing it was free on the Amazon ebook site.
