The main character is Caitlyn. She’s parent-free for the summer, and though she has a job running her uncle’s old-style small-town movie theater, everything looks to be a fun, carefree summer. Until her four most recent ex-boyfriends appear, and they’re all zombies—inadvertently turned that way because of how Caitlyn broke up with them.

These aren’t the typical brain-eating zombies; these are lovesick zombies, all craving Caitlyn’s love. It’s a creative metaphor for the breakups-without-real-clos

This book had an interesting concept although it was somewhat predictable. The following review will have spoilers so fair warning.

We get some background on Caitlyn but I don't feel that her character was well developed. Right at the beginning you can tell she has commitment issues. It was a good twist to have her turn her exes into zombies with a phrase she uses to break up with them. That was unique and interesting specially having her try and find a cure to it. I should start this review out by saying I've never read a book about zombies before but this one sounded different and fun. I didn't like the "zombie" parts that were gross although people that like zombie stories probably wanted more of that. I liked the way they were turned into zombies by what she said when she broke up with them and how she recounted their relationships. I even liked the way the zombies interacted with each other and how they had to be close to her but I didn't like Caitlyn ...more

i do not usually read YA fiction or supernatural fic because i tend to be a bit cynical if it's overdone, but this book was fantastic. the zombie theme was not overdone at all. i finished it in two quick nights because i was eager to find out how it would end. it was not hard to root for these characters, which is very important to me when i read. funny, witty, and all-around great read!

I don't usually read anything paranormal, but I really really enjoyed this book. The only negative thing I can think to say is that towards the end of chapter 18 and throughout chapter 19 I was able to predict what was going to happen. Although I'm really happy with the way it ended. Read this book!!!!

This book had an interesting concept. However, I thought that the boys being turned into zombies could have been described better. I liked the characters and thought that they were okay. But Caitlyn kept running away from her problems and she didn't try to solve it until the very end.
