Best recipe and motivation book. I keep it in the kitchen and cook from it weekly. The best way to use it is as a guide. I started off trying to follow the weekly plans and found it turned me off. Gillian in the book recommends not feeling locked into the weekly plan but to use it as a guide.

Was not what I was looking for in a detox. A lot of the ingredients are expensive and to hard to find. I was looking for something that was more of a transition into healthy living.

Want to be more vegan....seems like a lot of work for me living in the desert, now the burbs, no fresh veg.Love Gillian's show though, maybe I need her to be my coach.
Grandma Judy
Some good info & looked like some good recipes for pre- and post-juice detox.

It's just another health book. Nothing new or revolutionary here.

Absolutely fabulous step by step guide to elminate crap from your life. Very easy to do - but you do need to commit to buying a juicer and asking your grocer for odd things I have never heard of. Gillian McKeith has a great saying "You don't have to like everything, you just have to eat it" Hear hear. I don't much care for fruit and yet, everyday I am forcing myself to eat it. Feel better already.

This is a great book, simple to read with great recipe ideas. I've tried several vegetarian/vegan soups and casseroles and they are very good, I am very surprised at how yummy they are. NICE
Don't add seasonings though, it ruins the flavor, no getting creative with these and trust that the plain sounding recipe is delicious, it really is.

Also a good read (see You Are What You Eat). This book goes a little more into actual recipes, and specifically detox plans. Good information - I would start with You Are What You Eat, if you are new to Gillian McKeith's nutritional philosophy.

I really enjoyed this book. It has some great recipes and a 2 day detox plan. The author has a show on BBC America called You Are What You Eat. I enjoy it because she tells it like it is and helps people lose weight.
