The Perfect Gentleman by Danice Allen

I liked this story.

The description of the book I am listing below is from the back jacket of the book. I'm adding it because I believe the one on the Goodreads page does not depict this story.

Great second book in the series. Very well written and I used my dictionary a fair bit which is always a good thing. The romance is passionate and sizzling and the characters were all charming. Loved the three dogs in this one. Finished reading this book in the wee hours this morning. Naughty of me but I couldn't help it!

Sam & Julian

The thing I loved about this story is it is light hearted all the way through. A ward (Samantha) whose in the care of Julian to teach her the fine arts of being a lady, Sam is Julians sister in laws illegitimate half sister whom she discovered after the death of her father and wanted Sam as a part of her life. Sam when found wore buys cloths and was rather neglected in her upbringing on an island where her father dumped her when she was born. Sam is 19 and Julia 35. For Sam it wa

This is the sequel to Remember Me, and it was equally enjoyable. This time, the focus was on the love story between Samantha and Julian, that developed after Jack and Amanda have tied the knot and were honeymooning in a faraway country.

It was refreshing to read a love story set centuries ago, given the vintage setting, the very polite manner of speaking, with everything in place, where etiquette and proper behaviour were deemed very important; not to mention the old English words I've learned.

This book made me laugh, asks the age old question "do men realise what they have in front of them"...this book is full of spirit...Sam is way ahead of the times, in her actions and thinking and is a breathe of fresh air, Julian is stuffy and proper on the outside but Sam can see beyond that....makes for a lovely read

This book took me a day to read because I just could not put it down. I liked this one better than the last, but I have to admit I think I liked Jack and Amanda better. I would really love to read a third book on how life plays out for them.

Good sequel. This cover makes it look like much more of a bodice ripper than it was. Skip over the sex scenes and it's great.

Loved it!

I really enjoyed this. Good characters and very cute love story. The only weird part was the age difference. I recommend for a nice, easy read.
