A lovely yet bittersweet story of two men from two different times thrown together by a B&B, a train, and a connection that time doesn't seem to want to shake. Full review at On Top Down Under Book Reviews - http://bookreviewsandtherapy.blogspot...

Drake Braxton’s writing is nice – simple and flows very nicely. It engaged me for a good couple of hours and I refused to put my Kindle away until I was finished with it. The characters, I loved a lot. Nicola was my favorite. God! That one is so innocent and loving.

The book was perfect, except for the time-travelling bit. I wonder if that one was even needed here. Rather than focusing on that, the author should have simply focused on Romance, because that he

Destiny on the Tracks by Drake Braxton is a Bittersweet Dreams title by Dreamspinner Press that offers a refreshing alternative to the traditional happy ending within romance. It is a multi-genre novella that incorporates time-travel, fantasy, romance, mystery and a period historical to provide for a well written and touching page-turning love story. A poignant, haunting and lovely tale that lingers. I recommend this story without hesitation, in particular for those romantics who believe that lo

Enjoyed the 'tip of the hat' to the authors mentioned by Braxton at start of the book. If you like stories like "Somewhere in Time" (one of my favorite movies) - this is for you.

Sweet, compact, quick read. Finished in one night. Drawn in to the world of the circus by surrounding characters. Loved the romance of MCs.

Though a departure from his novel, Missing....Braxton stays true to who he is as a writer. Liked what he did at the end.

"A Love Before It's Time"

This short story is spellbinding. Author Drake Braxton has based this story around an actual train wreck outside of Chicago in 1918...the disastrous wreck of a circus train. The main character is Wheeler Reynolds, a present day financial advisor for big businesses. Seldom did he have much time to spend in his own apartment as his work kept him on the road traveling. This time he was staying in an old mansion outside Chicago that had once been used as a bed and breakfast.

This tale is a ghost story and love story.
You don't need to be gay to enjoy Destiny On The Tracks.

Time travel, trains and circuses are the subject of this atmospheric short tale. Wheeler Reynolds has been sent to an inn for sale set in quiet Illinois countryside, from New York. Overnight he hears a train, but the proprietor tells him next day that following a dreadful train wreck years ago the line was closed.

Emilio Tenaglia knows nothing but the circus and trains hard with his brother to be the

This is a beautifully haunting ghost story, with mixture of time travel and fantasy ending with an unexpected twist. I don’t want to give away the plot, which twists and turns so completely it left me breathless trying to keep up, but saying that it flows smoothly, it’s never confusing. The love story between Wheeler and Nicola is beautifully told, and i was left reader desperately hoping for a happy ending.

For such a short story, Destiny on the Tracks comes in at just under over 17000 words, th

Drake Braxton was born from straight parents and yet go figure – he came out gay. He’s an avid reader of M/M fiction and wanted to offer a multi-genre voice in the GLBT arena. He loves authors that can mix romance with erotic scenes and still be great story tellers. Someday he hopes to see ‘gay fiction’ moved from the back of the bookstore and mixed in with all other fiction for anyone to read. In ...more
