Collection of essays; some of the best were by teachers. Something that stuck with me was a teacher that said as her classroom got simpler and simpler (in terms of play things: toys and trucks to sticks and yarn), the play got richer and richer.
I love this book! The essays presented within really made me think about childhood and the world we live in in a completely different way. It was also my first introduction to Barbara Kingsolver who is now one of my favorite authors!
