Just read The Tell-Tale Trunk. I was skeptical. I thought, how good could it be if it's just a modernized version of the Poe tale. Well... after I read it, I just sat for a moment, perhaps a bit stunned. Stunned because "Brilliant" was the first word that came to mind upon finishing the tale. "Brilliant" was the last thing I expected to think about the work. But I was also a bit confused.
