Read in July, 2007
Deceptively interesting title. Such a history would be interesting except that this book assumes you already know everything about it, and therefore simply reference the history of Russia since 1800. It's like a report for the professor who the student already assumes knows everything and more about the subject. For me, not as helpful as I hoped although I learned loads more than I knew previous. Whetted my appetite for more russian history if nothing else.
