My third Higgins of the summer. In this story Hitler's fortune has been saved added to an Arab/English dynasty and now a former SS Major turned billionaire seeks revenge on the Prime Minister's private Army Sean Dillion the enforcer Hannah Bernstien the Army's soul and conscious and the Machivellian leader Charles Ferguson. With daring violence champange and Bushmills Irish whiskey the heroes are victorious with a littele help from reformed English gangsters and a brillant pilot. Higgins history...more
Overall Bad company was one of the most interesting books i have read in a long time with its interesting story line and attention getting beginning. Although it is a change from the other books i have read in the past. The reason is i went from fiction to nonfiction because the books i have read in the past is the Harry Potter series witch i enjoyed as well. Also overall for this book i would give it a 4 out of 5 because it was a great book but i have read better. I hope to keep on reading Jack...more

Bad Comany starts out with Baron von Berger, who was serving Hitler as his aid in WWII. Right before the bunker is breached, Hitler calls von Berger in and gives him plans and extreme wealth. The Baron promises that he will follow through on the plans and becomes a powerhouse in business.
I think that the Bad Company is an alright book. I was a bit surprised at the simplicity of the dialogue. Other than that, great plot but the dialogue hurts the overall quality of the book.

I read this book in one sitting. Higgins fans will not be disappointed. Our hero, Sean Dillon, is back to tackle the latest British Intelligence Crisis.
In the final days of World War II the Russians surrounded Berlin and Hitler hands a young military aide, Baron Max von Berger, a briefcase containing his personal diary and the Nazi Swiss bank account codes...

Adolph Hitler gives his diary and Swiss bank account numbers to one
of his favorite army generals in April, 1945. He also gives him safe
passage out of Berlin. Interesting story but an eighth grade English
student could have written the dialog just as well. This is not the Jack
Higgins that I once knew.

Hitler continues to manipulate world affairs from the grave when a long concealed diary is discovered containing secrets including a meeting between Hitler and Roosevelt in which plans were laid to turn the might of both world powers against the Soviet Union.
Good; Continuing character: Sean Dillon and company; series about Rashid continues as a former German war hero and his Mafia son take up their cause and look to cause problems.
A German officer who does not have ties with the Nazi's - receives the wealth of the Nazi's per Hitler. He survives the war and build's the wealth into an empire.
Currently reading, first part is a little hard to keep names straight but interesting fiction about World War II and some of the close officiers to Hitler.
Wow. Wow. Really? People actually like this book as more than a joke? Come on. I mean, really? Really?!??
I read it just so that I had something to read, It was not the greatest book..,
So far so good....Hitler's right-hand man years after the end of WWII. I get the feeling this is all part of a bigger story I'm not privy to. It turned out OK, but not my favorite kind of story.
Good, but more of the same.
fun spy stuff
I really liked the beginning and middle. The end was lame and von Berger's son was so annoying.
Kind of a let down, but often time the last book in a trilogy is. Some interesting WWI "information" surrounding one of the characters. Overall the same old story of revenge and death.
Good beach or airplane reading but weak fare indeed compared to what it could have been if Higgins and this plot had fulfilled their potential.
Another great story from Jack Higgins
I had a hard time following this book. It had a good story line, I'm sure, but it jumped around too much for my taste.
