I should have enjoy this book but sad to say I did not. Story too long winded. If only there is some photographs.

This book is just not for me. Maybe others will think differently

One of Norman Lewis's last travel books, in this case a selection of 8 stories. Some also appear in other collections, but some are new stories, mostly written in around 1980 or 2001. The books takes the reader to Yemen in the 1930s, tribes in Mexico, Venezuela and Paraguay, Naples and Russia.

Read loads of Norman lewis books and have enjoyed many of them - but not this one, please do not start with this one as I think you will also be disappointed. Plenty of other are far better.
