Susan Weidener and the women of The Women's Writing Circle have delivered a stunning collection of stand-alone stories and poems that sing out in harmony to touch a universal chord about life. Collectively, these stories offer an overall message of hope, healing and resilience. ...more

I won this in a Goodreads first-reads giveaway...thank you Goodreads! And thank you to the Women's Writing Circle for the lovely handwritten note inside the book. I enjoyed this little anthology of stories and poems but I have to be honest and note that some of the writing was much better than others. I loved this book. Growing up in the Philadelphia area, it definitely helped me walk through my own memory lane a bit less tenderly. I found it uplifting. Many of the things I have been going through and have gone through I could relate with. I also think some of the "shorts" will help with handling things to come.
I would definitely lend/give this to someone if they seem to need the companionship through their harder times.

"I like to write about our choices as women and our lives, our struggles and accomplishments. I also write about the search for love, this quest for passion, renewal and magic, which is the heart of any romantic. As a former journalist, I tell a story in a way that makes my books page turners, contemporary and relevant."

"My hope now and always is that my stories ring true. If they help others goin
