Emelia Hudson has a bone to pick with CEO Drake Wilder. His company now claims to own the deed to her bar and despite her relentless effort to meet with him and explain the situation, she has been given the brush off one too many times. Changing tactics she gets hired as a temp in his company, but after two weeks she is still no closer to getting a face to face meeting and she is getting pissed.

Drake Wilder has decided that he really does not care for his own party and goes to have a taste of wine in his own wine cellar and discovers a slightly tipsy Emelia tasting some of his best wine … and so begins one of the better Paranormal Romance stories I have read in awhile.

Emelia has some past issues with Drake (which he is totally unaware of) and she does not know who he is at that first meeting, it was great.
The book follows a bit of an unexpected path to get to a place where they can eve

My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!!
***Received the ebook from Entangled Publishing for an honest review, but I do own this book too!

Both of the beasts on the cover are beautiful!

This is book 1 in Seattle Wolf Pack series. This is for adults only due to the steamy. I read book 3 before I realized this was a series.

I love this story from the start, but werewolf shifter PNRs are my favorite kind of stories…okay any shifter PNR :) Emelia is a feisty and spunky female lead that you love

Gone with the Wolf, by Kristin Miller is the first novel in her new series, Seattle Wolf Pack. Free-spirited and brash bartender Emelia Hudson wants nothing more than to make her Seattle-based bar succeed. She has poured her heart, soul and bank account into it, thinking she was the owner of the building, but she was the victim of a scam. The building belonged to the mega corporation Wilder Financial, whose CEO is alpha werewolf Drake Wilder. With a plan in her head to force a confrontation with ...more

I love paranormal romance specially if it's a werewolf genre. There is just something about the mate thingy and when they say "mine" that is so possessive for me.

Emelia is a great character, not your typical heroine in a werewolf genre. :) She's independent, feisty and full of sarcasm! She owns a bar called the Knight Owl She used all her savings to that place but now, CEO Drake claimed to have bought the building that her bar resides in. She couldn't let that happen. No matter how many letters

I thought this story started off really good with the couple in the cellar. I had expected some high flying sparks after that. Though they did have some sparks, I just didn't feel that attraction between them. I didn't connect with them or this story.

I felt the story had potential with the the direction the author was trying to take it in. However, I felt this one fell flat for me. I felt this book did more "telling" then "showing". I'm not normally one to be irritated by that yet this time, ho

I almost gave up reading this story 30 pages in since I was pretty bored. THANK GOD it picked up and turned into a story worth reading since I normally dig paranormal romances with werewolf shape-shifters and alpha male types of characters.

SO BASICALLY: After 300 years of existence, business mogul shape-shifter Drake Wilder has given up the search in finding his Luminary, his destined mate. Enter feisty human Emelia Hudson who works part time as a temp at his company while struggling to keep her

I absolutely loved Gone With the Wolf by Kristin Miller, I was addicted from the very first chapter. The descriptions of Emelia and Drake’s first encounter we’re so good I couldn’t help but smile and keep reading. Everything about Emelia screams independence and determination and Miller kept her true to her character throughout the entire book, not making Emelia sacrifice some key element of herself in order to catch her boss’s attention gave the story some bonus points. Even though Drake Wilder ...more

Gone with the Wolf is the first in Kristin Miller's Seattle Wolf Pack paranormal romance series released by Entangled Publishing and the very first story I read from her.

Gone with the Wolf started out well, I loved the the chuckle out loud Halloween wine cellar scene where the air sizzled and cracked with the tension and attraction between the hero and heroine but somehow after that the story just fizzled out.

Gone with the Wolf was a quick and easy read, but it left me disappointed as I had sev

I got this book early for an honest review. First let me say that I love shifter books. It is one of my favorite in the paranormal genre, that and vampires. I also love erotic romances. This book fills both of those categories for me. I also need a HEA and I got that also. I LOVE this book!! Drake and Emie were just so HOT together. I also liked that Kristin let them build their feelings for each other before they actually had sex, meaning that it wasn't in the first couple of pages. But there w ...more

Gone with the Wolf has Werewolf Alpha & CEO of Wilder Finance, Drake pitted against Bar Owner & Temp Secretary, Emelia.

They had some funny moments, Emi was mad about him ignoring her emails & phone calls about the Bar and decided to get a temp job at Wilder Financial to get some inside dirt on him.

However, Drake has a brother who wants to be Alpha and to do so needs to remove Emi, as she is his brother's mate (called luminary in this world).

As Drake was such a sweetheart with Emi, ex

This book surprised me in a very good way. I was leery at first of this 'fated to be mated' plot, fearful that it would be like the many that have come before it. But it was unlike any of them. The chemistry between Emelia and Drake was fiery, tumultuous, and totally believable. Emelia's spunk has me cheering for her and Drake's tenderness had me swooning for him. The romance between them develops at a perfect, slow pace, despite their instant attraction. I'll be looking for more of this author' ...more

I have had Gone with the Wolf on my kindle for a long time but forgot about it until today when I was in the mood for some sexy shifters.

I thought the world was interesting but the execution wasn't quite there. The characters were likable enough, though the heroine was a little all over the place, but my main issues was the dialogue wasn't entirely natural and the villain wasnt quite believable. Maybe if I didn't read so much PNR then I would have liked it more.

I don't really know where to go with this review... Gone with the Wolf started off really great, I was having a good time and then it just suddenly fell flat...

If you had asked me how I felt about this book when I had only read half of it, I would have told you it was fun, sexy and I was really loving it. But now that I've completed the book I can't really say that much for the second half. I also don't know if the same characters continu

This is the first book in the series and I read it as the first in the Seattle Wolf Box Set. In this case Emelia Hudson (aka Emie) takes herself undercover, getting a job as a temp in the company. While attending the office Hallowe’en party she sneaks into the wine cellar where she indulges herself with some tasty – and ver ...more

Gone with the Wolf is a pretty standard destined to be together Paranormal Romance, but I still really enjoyed it! Emelia is a struggling bar owner who just learned that some big corporation also holds the deed to her bar. However, she doesn’t expect to be attracted to him, and he certainly never expected to find his mate in this manner. Now Drake is torn between bus ...more

A sign of a good book is when your still thinking about it the next day.......Gone with the wolf is one of those. I fell for the characthers in the first few pages they just pulled me in, especially Drake ......where can I find my own Drake.

I went back and forth on this book. I ended up liking it overall, but I wanted to kick both Drake and Emelia at different points. I can't even pinpoint what it was that gave me crazy eyes. I just remember thinking "Noooo. This is going to turn out badly. Don't do it."

Anywho. Since Drake's actions caused most of my crazy, let's look at him. The guy's been running things for so long he has a bit of a problem realizing he should *maybe* let others in on what his plans are. Namely, Emelia. He makes

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and read it in a day, letting the family go hungry!! Lol.

The characters are great and you can totally relate to them. I don't like spoilers so will just say that the book is about a handsome rich werewolf who has been searching for his soulmate for years, and comes across her by chance, and there starts the story of how to win her over, with lots of action, twists and turns.

Emelia is a strong woman who doesn't need a man in her life as they always let her down, an

Finally someone as spunky as Scarlet O’Hara! Emelia Hudson is full of feisty charm. Bless her little heart. From the first page, Emelia grabs your attention and keeps you spell bound. It’s easy to see why Drake Wilder would claim her as his own, the Luminary to his Alpha.

While Drake seeks to win Emelia’s heart, taking his time to reveal his true nature, his twin brother enters the tale. Silas realizes that Drake is about to fulfill the conditions of becoming the true Alpha of his father’s estate

This is one of those feel good paranormal romance reads that pits an male alpha against a bull headed human female who is fated to be his mate (luminary).

It's a tug of war sort of romance and a battle of the sexes that has a few twist and turns that add an excitement value. The one thing though is if you think this has any sort of tip of the hat storyline to "Gone With the Wind" it really doesn't (in my opinion).

While I appreciated the read and felt that warm fuzzy feeling about how things end

Good book. Quick read.

I wish the Silas drama had been expanded more.

I thought Emie took to the whole werewolf/luminary thing a little too easy.

But great interaction, good story, good romance/sex. Overall a good book.

First and only read of this series for me. The h was dumb and stubborn as hell. Who gives someone $50,000 without making sure they are on the up and up?!? The H wasn't honest which caused a great deal more drama than needed. But I guess it was a way to fill the pages.
