At first VERY DISAPPOINTED that we have yet ANOTHER Krase warrior.. I was seriously getting frustrated thinking does the author not have enough imagination to come up with a hot alien type guy or what? While meeting various Krase warriors in the quest, obviously we get to know them a bit and want them to get their happy ending also. But we are talking alien worlds here! Want to see MORE and DIFFERENT of it not the same thing with a different slant every time.

Good book. Pretty standard for this series. Not the best in the series not the worst. It was nice to finally see Honor Vengeance get his human love story and happy ending.
The book actually clued us into the fact that there are at least four more books coming! :-) Id also liketo see the surly Cursed Joy get his happy ending and im sure that will happen.
Im happy to see that the author didnt rely on the "hey u cant go back to earth...sorry abt that" for the only conflict in the story which happen

We do get quite a bit of recapping and exposition in the first chapter. That’s to be expected, I suppose, in case someone either picks this volume up as their first or spaces them out so long that some aspects might have been forgotten.
Sadly this chunk of exposition is also repetitive as hell within itself.

Still, it’s nice that Honor’s already been thoroughly softened up by all that went before. This is apparent immediately by his attitude towards humans as “living, breathing, feeling creatures”

Finally, in the eighth book of this partly humorous, partly fascinating series about cross-cultural love affairs, we get the story of Honor Vengeance. He's been a bit of a bad guy in previous volumes, or, shall we say, a Krase who took his duty far too seriously and wasn't willing to make allowances for feelings, and certainly not for those involving the newly discovered species of humans. Once I got to know him better in this book, I have to say, he more than redeemed himself and actually reall ...more

Finally, Honor got his HEA! I'm glad he got someone who is similar to his body type and personality, not a dainty, distressed, effeminate mate. Not that I have anything against the type, but I think Honor's personality was suited with Carver. I expected there would be much more happening near the end but it just ended blandly. Still, I enjoyed reading this.

I'm looking forward to what will happen with Acerith and Jeremy. And of course, if Cursed Joy will change his opinion about humans

"Honor Vengeance never should have licked a human."

that is how this starts and I thought that was super funny!
Vengeance was a big teddy bear under all that grumpy demandor. He had an annoying habit of assuming things thought. What was nice, Carver wasn't some damsel in distress. He took care of problems on his own and didn't wait for other to come and save him.

I was looking forward for Honor Vengeance sequel, it wasn't the best but it was way better than the previews stories.
I will read the next sequel for sure .
