This book involves creatures from HP Lovecraft’s Cthulhu Mythos, alien invaders from another galaxy, time travelers from the distant future, Biblical history, and a dose of Cold War jitters. Richard L Tierney wrote “The Winds of Zarr” in 1958. At the time, he had seen Cecil B DeMille’s “The Ten Commandments” about a half-dozen times.
