Home isn't supposed to be dangerous, but for Sidney it is. Returning home means that she has to face her past. It's not just the man who hurt Sidney that makes it horrible, but the family that didn't believe her. They were dead to her, but now that her mom is really dying things seem different. It's a chance to set things right.

3.5 Hesitant Stars

I was really hoping this was gonna be a five star book for me, but unfortunately it wasn't. I loved Damaged, but Damaged 2 didn't blow me
away like the first one did.

This book started off really well, it picked up right where it left off. I love Peter and I wasn't disappointed by his character, Sidney was a bit stubborn and I wanted to slap her a couple of times. I love a bit of a scuffle when I read a book and I was pleasantly surprised when Peter proved that he is no doormat

Description's up. Cover reveal coming soon!!!
I hate to go against the masses on this one but I honestly didn't see what everyone else saw in the high praises. I really liked Damaged, so much that I pre-ordered Damaged 2 and happily opened it when it was promptly delivered at midnight. But I was fairly quickly floored and left feeling like I was trying to read the numbers on the lotto balls as they are popping around waiting to see which one was going to stick and actually start to make some sense. One thing I felt really fell short was the ...more
When is this going to be out so sick off all these Sequels!!! Her arrangement books are sending me over the deep end!
*** SPOILERS ***

I wasted my time with this.

I really liked Sidney in the first book and her relationship with Peter. I also thought she was a strong character and all that, but when she found out about Peter's past she turned into a judgmental bitch (such a hypocrite considering her own shit). I don't know how Peter put up with her.

Second thing that pissed me off was the deal with the Turkey. Mr. Turkey? Really? What are we, twelve?

Third thing was Peter's family. Was I the only one who didn't ca
Wow wow wow! First, I received an ARC for an honest review so here goes:

HM Ward really outdid herself with this book! Peter Grantz and Sidney pick up right where we left off on Damaged 1 after she was attacked by Dean and has a fight with Sam.

She is heading home to face her past and see her mother who is sick... Along the way home she faces her inability to judge people, her fear of Dean, and finds a new pet that is hysterical. Seriously!! I absolutely laughed out loud at the pet and how Peter
Wow. I liked Damaged #1 but I REALLY liked Damaged #2.

As is usually the case with a sequel, this one started off exactly where the last one left off. Sidney is finally heading home. After receiving some devastating news from her brother, she finally sees its time to go back and face the past that haunts her. Dean included.

I knew there would be drama involved her, including relationship drama, so I wasn't too surprised when it popped up. What did surprise me though was that both parties were ma

Just read the ARC!!!! Fabulous book! It truly developed the characters and really let us see what was going on with Peter and Sidney. Sidney was having to deal with her past nightmares that Dean had caused her. She new she was going to have to face him and go home and see her sick dying mother and try to mend her family.. Still spinning by finding out just who Peter really was about crushed her. Sidney was hurt by his deception but realized that Peter was fighting his own feelings. Deception tru ...more
One star is for Peter, one star is for Sean and one is for all the teasing and joking between the characters which was pretty funny. Otherwise this book was a disappointment to me. It's a pity, though, because I loved Damaged. However three stars feels way too much for this book, because Sidney was really irritating, and I feel like my eyes are hurting from all the eye rolling I was doing.

Anyway the reason I didn't enjoy the book as much as I would like to was the way Sidney acted after she foun

I received this book as an ARC from H.M. Ward for an honest review. Let me start off by saying I really enjoyed reading this story. Book 2 picked up where Damage 1 left off. Peter offers to go home with Sidney to see her sick mother. But before they leave Peter decides to make a confession he felt Sidney needed to know before he goes with her. When Sidney finds out his secret she is taken back more so because she said Peter lied to her. This starts the journey off with a bang. Between Texas and ...more

I need this book. Now.
**ARC provided for honest review**

I am at a loss for what to even say about this book. I loved Peter and Sidney in the first book, and I loved them even more after this one. Sidney is damaged due to things that have happened to her, and trust isn't easy for her. She trusts Peter, and then finds out he's been keeping a pretty big nasty from her this whole time, which pretty much destroys any trust she had for him.

They embark on the trip to Jersey, and it's a hilarious comedy of error the whole wa
I am so disappointed! What a major let down! I gave the first book 5★'s and couldn’t wait to get started on this one and I am not sure what happened! This wasn’t even the same Sidney we met in the first book. There were so many little side things being said or done and none of it made sense or was answered. (view spoiler) ...more
For some reason my review was deleted... so this is going to be short and sweet since I read this 6 months ago...

I have grown to love the style of HM Ward. This book had just the right amount of humor and a bit of sexy mixed in. Sidney has to come to terms with who Peter is. She knows the name and the demons that come with it. But beyond the family name drama we have Sidney's past that is coming at her full-force. Peter wants her trust and for her to understand that he is not the man that he was

ANYTHING THAT'S REAL" (Nerve Damage by Lifehouse)

I loved the first book but this one...I can't say that it is better but I simply couldn't put it away. I read all night long. I was so absorbed with Sid and Pete. Yeh, they are damaged but only together they'll manage to repair it. Thanks a lot, H. M. Ward!!!
4.5 stars.
I enjoyed this second book more since I'm already acquainted with Peter & Sidney. Although I'm a fan of the university setting in the first book, I liked the direction this one has taken. I also appreciated the many funny moments in the book! Having met Sean & Jonathan Ferro, I now want to read about them!!
Super short book. Would've liked more Peter. I am intrigued by Sean now so I will for sure check out his stories. The turkey, well that was just weird. Would've liked more story.

I received a copy of Damaged 2 for an honest review.

Oh. My. Goodness. H.M. Ward has officially rocked my world. In all honesty Ward’s work before Damaged to me does not compare to the awesomeness of these novels.

After the horrible events of Sidney’s ex-boyfriend showing up with her brother in attempt to bring her home to see her sick mother Sidney and Peter are even closer than before. Now trying to find a way home Peter must come clean about who he really is: Peter Ferro,
WTH?!? I thought that "Damaged" was a good piece of realistic, contemporary fiction that touched upon many issues which I find compelling: sexual abuse, family dynamics, family members' differing reactions towards the rape victim, Post-Traumatic Stress, culture & decorum in academia, & the taboo student/professor relationship.... I was eager to read the sequel-- "Damaged 2"-- b/c I honestly believed that it would expound on the issues & dilemmas presented in the first novel. Unfortun ...more

Damaged 2 takes right off after where book 1 ended, and Peter he's still just as sweet and loving as can be, "let's take our time getting out of here and put some space between you and Dean. I need to make a call and then we can sort out the details. Okay?" Events start to unfold and it kinda puts a strain on Sidney and Peter's relationship but through out the book there's so much humor and through all the s*** that these to go through with both each other, and their families you can tell they h ...more

Holy moly, I loved Damaged and I love the Arrangement serials so when they started to merge on the last arrangement, I'll tell ya, I was thrilled. Peter Ganz is actually Peter Ferro, brother of Sean Ferro. Mind blown!

In Damaged 2, Sydney and Peter along with their travel companion, Mr. Turkey, start out the long trip from Texas to Jersey because Sydney's mom is dying. This trip starts off rough, as Sydney finally learns Peters identity a

I was given an ARC for my honest review.

I loved damaged, and damaged 2 picks up right where it left off.

Damaged was the first of H.M. Wards books I have read, but I will definitely be going back to get the arrangement series as soon as I have more money in my amazon account.

Please remember that this is a sequel to Damaged. Buy that book first or you will be pretty lost. Also, as a suggestion get the arrangement series and stripped. I was a little lost as to the significance of who Dr. Peter G

I received an ARC from the author and the following is my review.

Great read that I couldn't put down!! Story and the characters are different from the first book so there was a little adjustment time for me to get use to their different personalities. We get to see a side of Peter that at times I didn't care for. Author delivers a complete story that I still don't want to see end!!

Spoiler alert
I wasn't surprised how Sydney acted when she found out Peter's true identity. What I thought was odd w

I received an Advanced Readers Copy of Damaged 2 and I was thrilled. I loved the first book and this one did not disappoint at all.
In this book Sidney makes her way back to New Jersey to be with her dying mom. The journey there and the revelation that she has when she speaks with her mom for the first time since she left for Texas years earlier was compelling. While on the journey back to New Jersey Sidney finds out things about Peter that she didn't know. His relationship with his family is one
