It's a story of second chances. Four years ago Garreth Connor rode out of Calico Creek with a promise to send for Mary as soon as he made it rich chasing gold. Now he's back and Mary wants answers because he clearly doesn't remember her.

Nice short teaser. If you like second chance stories this one leads into a couple starting from scratch - again.

This is a short story. Ok, a very very short story. It feels like a novel wannabe. IF it was 240 pages long, IF it developed the plot and characters better, I could see it being a very interesting tale. As it is, one feels like one is reading only the plot summary - making the story feel rushed, unrealistic, and non-recommendable.

This was a sweet historical western short story. I liked the premise and I even liked the hero and heroine even though I would have liked more emotional depth. The writing was good, especially the historical descriptions. I just wished it was longer. It seemed to end just as things were heating up.

It was an alright story but can we just talk about the fact that the guys name in this story changes from Brett to Garrett and then back to Brett. For a while I had a hard time following who she was even talking about

This book is a very quick read but it's a very nice little story, I've given two stars not as a negative but simply because there's not much of it.

Short and sweet

Three short stories, some more detailed and descriptive than the others. Main characters are strong but all have been in by an handsome sweet talking man.
