Loved the Alice stories, but was a bit lost on Arabians Lost stuff and didn't care all that much about the Crimson Empire stuff.

The art was gorgeous and cute at the same time (Fujimaru-sensei, I'll follow you forever!).

It's worth a look, but I'm glad I got it from the library rather than bought it.Despite being "Alice's Love Fables" it's only about 50% Alice. (That's also why it got knocked down a few stars)

I would have rated this 5 stars for the Alice stories alone, but it's actually a compilation of short stories from three franchises. There are three very short stories from Arabians Lost and another three from Crimson Empire--two series I know nothing about. Since I don't know the characters, all I can say is that they are "what-if" tales as the main female character chooses (or is chosen by) a different male character in each. I can't say if they are brand-new stories and art, but judging by th ...more

I've been following the Alice series. This one was a disappointment. I don't like the Crimson Empire stories. It cuts into the book. More Alice stories should've been there. The title should've been "The Crimson Empire with a few stories about Alice.

As the title presents itself, this is a manga filled with nothing but short one-shots. While they were all very cute, I was disappointed that Ace wasn't in it. Ontop of that, there was no stories from Toybox as the name would cause the consumer to assume. Instead there were stories from two other games from Quinrose. While, it is a nice gesture and all. Those two other games take up two-thirds of the manga instead of the HnKnA series which is the entire reason why I bought it. I finished this no ...more

A story or two were cute, but this introduction of different stories by these artists are getting old.
Nicky
Only read for the Alice specific stories (not the Crimson or Arabian).

Only gets three stars because the non Alice stories suck

I like Boris and Julius, and sometimes Blood.
Elaine
I like that they gave small treatment to some romances that haven't occurred in the longer Alice series, but I hope this doesn't mean that there WON'T be a longer series for these relationships. The ones in this collection were too short, and I would especially like to see Alice and Grey in a longer format because it irritates Nightmare so much! The selections chosen from Crimson Empire and Arabians Lost won't get me to read those series, either.
Elsa
I was really disappointed. Didn't care for either of the side stories and the others were just way too short.
