Skinny Dipping in the Pool of Womanhood is a collection of poems that cover a wide range of subjects- love, sex, pain and betrayal. 'Tap, Tap, Tap' and 'For that friend who one day stopped being my friend' are the two poems that I always make sure to let my friends read because they're so different but they're both so beautifully written that you want to read more. 'I was almost a mother' is one of the poems I suggest first as well because the imagery is amazing and the reader is able to ...more

My name is Rosalind Guy. I work as an English teacher at Wooddale High School, where I teach honors and standard classes and sponsor the Drama Club. I also am an adjunct professor at Southwest Tennessee Community College. My first book, Skinny Dipping in the Pool of Womanhood, was published in February 2013.
