A massive thanks to Cutting Edge Press for sending me a review copy of this book.

I haven’t read anything like this, for quite some time. It surprised and enthralled me. It reminded me of James Bond and Jason Bourne. ‘Wicked Game’ is a mad, spy thriller with a dash of biotechnological menace and plenty of excitement. It is a reminder of how science can be used for both good and evil, as a scientist develops a biological weapon designed to cause widespread terror. We get double dealings, spy agenc

Wicked Game is a great thriller and an extremely interesting book. I loved it as a thriller because it has a plausibly scary plot, a cast of interesting and morally dubious characters, and big amounts of action with some excellent set pieces (the fire scene for one, but others as well) in a nastily twisted plot. As a writer, I recognised that a near-exclusive use o

I like the idea of a hero who is 'morally ambiguous'; it makes a change from the clean-cut super-heroes of most thrillers. Is a hero who is a professional assassin for the criminal classes going too far? I don't think so. The plot is quite dense (good for me)and keeps you guessing to the end. Good read.
