Such a wonderful delight!! My grandson simply loved me reading Felini the Flea to him. He love the name Felini and loves to say it.. He walks around saying? "Felini the Flea is fun to read, fun to read indeed." with him walking around and singing this.. my parrot also loves to say "Felini." It has fast became their favorite book to read. My grandson was a bit upset that he couldn't see a flea on the cat, but between you and me.. I am okay with that. The story line was excellent and giving ...more

Felini is a flea with just one leg. While all his family works in the circus, he can't be a part of it because of this handicap. Naturally, this makes him very sad and, making things worse, the other fleas make fun of him.
This was a really nice read, and while I found the story enjoyable and the drawings really colorful, I disliked that nothing was drawn in proportion to how big/small it actually is in real life.
The story was short, but it sure got it's point across.

I loved it, and so did my 6 years old nephew! Aftewards he kept on practising one-legged jumping like Bruno does! :)
