Loved it. Catherine Mann is an auto-read for me and once again she's written a great story. Rowan and Mari are both doctors, in Cape Verde for a medical conference. The have been medical adversaries for years, with Princess Mari claiming his diagnostic software cuts too many corners to be accurate and Rowan telling her she's too insulated in her lab to know about practical medicine. When an attempt to escape from pursuing paparazzi sends Mari bursting into his hotel room it also leads to the dis...more
First, you need to know that Catherine Mann is one of my auto-buy authors. If she's not one of yours, she should be!

Ok, Yuletide Baby Surprise is about Dr. Rowan Boothe, doctor and philanthropist extraordinaire! He lives to help his patients at a clinic in Africa. On the side he's a part-time Interpol agent. He's part of a group of men who became friends at a military reform school.

And Princess Mariama Mandara... She's a nerdy, genius scientist who is trying to hide from the press.

They meet whe...more

I received an ARC of this book and its another Catherine Mann hit. An alpha brotherhood book- it's got strong characters and a great storyline- princess/dr and her nemesis (another dr) end up caring for a baby that doesn't belong to either one of them. Love all of Catherine's books- it's a one day read for sure!!
In Yuletide Baby Surprise by Catherine Mann, Princess Mariama Mandara, who is also a research scientist, unexpectedly gets up close and personal with Dr. Rowan Boothe. She has been determined to avoid him since their last meeting 5 months ago in London. They both have very differing points of view about science and medicine, and Princess Mari has been openly critical of some of Rowan's work.

When Princess Mari sneaks into a room at her hotel pretending to be room service in order to escape the pr...more
Yuletide Baby Surprise is a Billionaires and Baby’s novel, as well as Mann’s Alpha Brotherhood. This is the story of Dr. Rowan Boothe and Princess Mariama Mandara. Because it is a Billionaires and Baby’s book it does not have the mystery subtext found in the previous Alpha Brotherhood novels. The Interpool connection is there, but certainly downplayed. Similar to the other Brotherhood books it does center around an exotic locale, Cape Verde, Africa. To further enhance the exotic location, Mari i...more

Yuletide Baby Surprise is another great addition to The Alpha Brotherhood series. Where each and every one of our heroes comes from a tough past in which they had to go to reform military school to make up for something they did. Now they don’t want to become involved in any committed relationship, but they have committed to making up for their past by making sure that their present status and fortune they have worked so hard to make will help in some way to make amends. Also the fact t...more

Yuletide Baby Surprise by Catherine Mann

Princess Mariama Mandara is more comfortable in her baggy clothes and doing data analysis than playing the princess role. Why anyone is interested in the fact she's speaking at a conference, she just doesn't understand. So when a couple of picture seeking teenagers track her down she quickly dons an abandoned waiter jacket and delivers the waiting food cart. It's not until she's inside with the cart that she realizes it's her most vocal critic Dr. Roman Bo...more

I recommend this book.
I enjoyed this book by Catherine. This book includes passion, laughs, heartache, and an abandoned baby.
If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books first from “The Alpha Brotherhood” series.

In the fourth installment of the Alpha Brotherhood we meet Dr. Rowan Boothe and princess/scientist Mariama Mandara. They are at an African hotel for a medical convention and Mari pretends to be room service in order to escape the paparazzi and hides in Rowan’s room. Both are surprised to find an infant under the food cart with instructions asking Rowan to care for the little girl. While trying to find the baby’s relatives Mari and Rowan care for her, and give in to the passion that has been buil...more
I love Catherine Mann but I do not believe that Yuletide Baby Surprise was one of her best. The love story between the renowned doctor and rival scientist/Princess was one that caught your attention. You were rooting for them to get together so they could have thier happily ever after. The agents of the Alpha Brotherhood come together to find relatives of a baby that has been abandoned by the mother, under a room service food cart, but that is the extent of the adventure.

The Alpha Brotherhood i...more

I received an advanced copy of this book by the author. Within 24 hours I had finished the book. I had trouble putting it down.

This book is about two people, Dr Rowan Boothe and Princess Mariama Mandara, who are against each other in their field of work and are drawn together to help a helpless infant that was left at their feet only weeks before Christmas. They try desperately to find the mother and find out why she abandoned the child. During this time he has the chance to keep the Princess ri...more

In Yuletide Baby Surprise by Catherine Mann, Princess and doctor Mariama Mandara (Mari) is trying to escape from the photo press. She has never being comfortable around the press and prefers to remain behind the closed doors of 17738298her research lab. To escape from the unwanted press at her medical conference, she disguises herself as the housekeeping staff and takes the nearest abandoned food cart to the room number written on the food cart slip. She does not realize that the room she takes...more
In Yuletide Baby Surprise by Catherine Mann we meet Dr. Rowan Boothe and princess/scientist Mariama Mandara both working in Africa. While at a hotel Mairama is trying to get away from the press. She sees a room service cart and pushes it to the room number on the cart. It happens to be Rowan's room. Both are surprised to find a baby on the bottom shelf of the cart. They work together taking care of the baby and trying to find the mother. Two strong willed people end up finding true love. A very...more
Yuletide Baby Surprise is a wonderful Christmas Story. Dr. Rowan Boothe is a hot alpha male that devotes his life to helping others. Dr Mariama Mandara is a princess that is camera shy and feels most herself when immersed in her work. Mari does not always see eye to eye with Rowan. The sparks flying between the two just jump off the page. I love the emotional roller coaster this book takes you on. Catherine Mann never disappoints! Yuletide Baby Surprise is a must read! I was given an ARC for my...more
The potential was far greater than the reality for this storyline. It started off with good premise but became disjointed. It seem to not be kinda hoshposh.

another hit for Catherine Mann. I was very lucky to get an advance copy, you may think that secures a good review, but honesty prevails!!! this is a heart touching, warm, well written story - sexy, passionate alpha male, takes his chance with a regal, previous adversary. Sparks fly, each learning from the other. Well worth reading - enjoy!

I received an ARC of this book. If you love Catherine Mann it's a must, especially to curl up with on a wintery afternoon. Couldn't put it down. Who can resist strong conflicting characters with an abandoned baby + add the holiday season = a hit!
