What a way to end the Men of Wolff Mountain series. It was an enjoyable read by the end I could feel the tears coming on. Pierce and Nikki needed each other. I like the way she was there for him when he found out who he was. I didn't like how he treated her when he thought she betrayed him but he made up for it. I love this series I hate that it's over but this was a great ending to the series.
Very good book and surprise addition to the Men of Wolff Mountain series. When Pierce tests to become a kidney donor for his critically ill father he discovers they aren't biologically related. This is stunning news to himself and his mother (his father hasn't been told yet). Pierce's entire world has been rocked and he isn't quite sure how to deal with it. He hires Nicola to look for the answers. Adding to his unsettled feelings is his growing attraction to Nicola. She has her own opinions abou...more

The BEST (and most intense) book of the series. Absolutely LOVED it!
Pierce Avery was definitely a Wolff at heart, he had the being a horses rear end part down perfectly. Luckily for him Nikki Parish was a loving forgivable lady. Janice Maynard did and extraordinary job wrapping up The Men Of Wolff Mountain series.

Men of Wolff Mountain come to a close with A Wolff at Heart.
Pierce Avery's world is spinning, he just found out his dad is not his biological dad.
With the help from Nicola Parrish, he uncover the truth from his birth.
It is a painful and sorrowful journey finding the truth but with Nikki at his side he can do it.
Along the way Pierce and Nicola become close, and fall for each other.
They both discover a new family and more love.

A Wolff at Heart was an enjoyable read. I absolutely loved reading...more
Though I'm a bit sad to see it end, this book is a nice conclusion to 'The Men of Wolff Mountain' series.

Janice Maynard came to the writing life early! When her third grade short story, “The Princess and the Robbers”, won a red ribbon in a school arts fair, Janice was hooked. She followed up that early success with a more commercial piece in the sixth grade… “Why My Mom Loves To Drink Coke”. No advance for that one, but she won a six-pack of Coke… remember those great little bottles?

In junior high Ja...more
