3 1/2 to 4 stars for overall anthology.

This Time Next Year 3 to 3 1/2 stars

Overall, I enjoyed this Christmas novella but felt there was too much plot for such a short story. Because of that, the ending felt rushed and somewhat unsatisfying.

A Rare Gift 3 1/2 to 4 stars

I really enjoyed this Christmas novella. The heroine was simply fantastic and though the hero came across more like a cantankerous old fart than a torture hero, I did warm up to him by the end. This was an angsty but good read.

There are four stories - all with a contemporary Christmas theme - in this anthology written by four popular and talented romance writers.

Last year around Christmas time I picked up Naughty and Nice, a collection of novellas, because I am a huge fan of Shannon Stacey's novels. I hadn't at that time read anything by the other authors. So I was really excited when Holiday Kisses came out this year, particularly because Jaci Burton's story is a continuation of sorts from her story in Naughty and Nice.

"This Time Next Year" was an enjoyable story. I've now got a couple of titles on my Kindle by this author and I'm looking forward to r
This was one fabulous collection of Christmas-themed short stories, provided by netgalley. Shannon Stacey was the only author I'd previously read, but I'm pretty sure I'll be checking all the others after reading these.

The first story is This Time Next Year by Alison Kent and it was just one of those books that presses all the right buttons for me. Gorgeous stetson-wearing hero on horseback - check, said hero rescues heroine from snowdrift - check, heroine discovers that not only is the hero a b

Shannon Stacey- Mistletoe & Margaritas

It’s common knowledge that with novellas most people feel like there is a shortage character growth & that the story moved to fast and they often feel rushed. I definitely felt that with Mistletoes & Margaritas. I’m not saying it was bad, I just felt that this could have been a 5+ star with all the she-bang, if it were a full length novel.

Young widow Claire Rutledge and Justin McCormick have been friends for years. Justin has loved Claire since
Absolutely wonderful feel good Christmas stories and I LOVED THEM! All stories were either great or nearly great, which hardly ever happens!

This Time Next Year - Alison Kent, 4.5 stars
A really beautiful story and I loved the ending. Not what I expected to happen which made it a refreshing surprise.

A Rare Gift - Jaci Burton, 5 stars
This was my absolute fav and I really REALLY loved it. This story is worth the money alone!!

'Holiday Kisses' is a collection of four novellas that share a theme of couples overcoming obstacles to find true love before Christmas. I found all four stories enjoyable; the last one 'Mistletoe and Margaritas' by Shannon Stacey is my favourite, and in my view the strongest.

The heat from these stories will help keep you warm on a chilly evening.
Holiday Kisses- Anthology
Four Stories by Four Authors

This Time Next Year by Alison Kent
Dillon Craig lives with the memories of war. As a doctor, he did his best but he remembers the men he failed. Now he lives on the mountain and helps the people there. Brenna Keaton is heading to her Gran's on the mountain to spend Christmas like every year. When she ends up in a snow bank, Dillon comes by on his horse, Ranger, and rescues her. Only they end up snowed in at his cabin. Can love grow between them
Holiday Kisses is one of the best holiday romances that I have read this season. It is rare indeed that I find an anthology where every story appeals to me. I usually end up not liking at least one story, but this one wasn't like that at all. I would be sitting there reading with a huge smile on my face or laughing out loud and every around me would want to know what was making me so happy (sappy, my husband says). I would quickly let them know going on and on about whichever story in the antho ...more

On her way to Grandma's to spend what could be their last Christmas together Brenna ends up in a ditch before she can make it there. She's rescued by Dillon, a reclusive Doctor who is just home from Iraq, she ends up spending time in his snowed in cabin with him because they can't make it to her Grandma's house. Dillon is content with his lonely life, living with his memories of lost friends and soldiers until Brenna comes along and Brenna has her life all plann
It's a month of Christmas with lots of Christmas romance! Overall, I gave this book 4 stars and below are reviews for each of four anthologies with ratings, respectively.

This Time Next Year by Alison Kent (5 stars) - It was a story about one with tortured soul and haunted pasts, Dillon, where he met with an ambitious nurse, Breena. Rough weather made them stuck together and they started to learn about each other and eventually, they grew feelings to one another. I loved this story because Dill
This was a cute collection of holiday stories. I have only read 2 of the authors before (Burton and Dimon), but will be checking out more from the other 2 authors.

I wasn't too sure about Allison Kent's story when I first started reading it. But slowly I was won over by it, I have a soft spot for broken heroes. Dillon seemed ok at first glance, but the more you get to know him you realize he hides things very well. I loved how he was working out his issues and thought it was a great way to rememb
Keep Your Eye On That Frost Guy...He Nips
Four holiday romance novellas make up this seasonal delight, and they did a nice job of keeping me toasty on a couple of cold winter nights. Metaphorically, anyway, as southern Florida isn't exactly known for its brisk evening temperatures, even in winter.

This anthology didn't have the shared concept that united the three novellas in the previous anthology I read, but I'm perfectly happy without that. This one was a more consistent and entertaining read,

This Time Next Year – I really enjoyed this story right from the beginning I was routing for Dillon. He was such a sweet man I really wanted him to find love and happiness. The Grandma side story was wonderful too. It really touched memories of my own Grandma and that pulled me in on such a personal level that it was even more important that they get together. The story was believable with just enough magic. The characters were likable and human.

Such an enjoyable Christmas anthology. All that snow and the inconveniences *ehem* it can cause when it leaves two people stranded or forced to share confined spaces together, maybe with a bed around...

Holiday Kisses is a compilation of 4 wonderful stories. I have read a few anthologies over the last few weeks and I have to say this is one of the best I’ve read. Overall, I would give this a 4.5 rating. Below, I will review each book individually.

This Time Next Year by Alison Kent.

I really, really enjoyed this book! This Time Next Year is a short story, yet packed with so much. The time these 2 characters spent with each other never felt rushed or like, we as the readers, were shortchanged.

It isn’t often that I enjoy all of the stories in an anthology, but Holiday Kisses delivers. The novel contains four contemporary romances surrounding the holiday season. This is the first time I have ever given a 5 coffee cup review to a collection of works. Each story could stand on its own, and I would gladly read the full length version.

In, This Time Next Year by Alison Kent we meet Brenna Keating and Dillon Craig. Brenna is headed to her grandmother’s house in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This

This Time Next Year by Allison Kent
Brenna Keating is on her way to her grandmothers. She swerves to avoid and deer and finds her car nose deep into a snow pile.
Dillion is on his horse making the rounds when he finds her car and drags her out by a window and brings her back to his place and dresses her ankle and puts her to bed under quilts.
As they sit and talk in front of the first, he's told her they will be snowed in for days as this is the storm of the century.
She finds out he
Holiday Kissses from Carina Press is another book in their terrific Christmas anthologies. I say terrific because the formula they use isterrific. They publish the four stories together under one theme, and people have the choice to purchase all four together, or, they're available separately. This is a terrific solution to the "your mileage may vary" problem usually found in anthologies.

There's the obvious theme in this collection. Okay, there are two obvious themes. It's a romance anthology. A

It's Not Christmas Without You: 4.25
Mistletoe and Margaritas: 4.50

NOTE: Anthologies usually leave me lacking and thinking there is more to the story. Evidently, I don't have that problem with Christmas Anthologies. I must buy the whole magic of Christmas thing LOL

This Time Next Year: Probably the most heart-warming of the anthology. This story had me rooting for the romance and really loving that moment on the porc
Loved this! All of the stories were wonderful and engaging. I always enjoy reading Stacey and Burton and was pleasantly surprised by Dimon and Kent. Can't wait to read Burton's All She wants for Christmas! Laughs and tears, this is an amazing collections of entertaining stories!

Thank you for providing me with this ebook!
Loved this! I look forward to Carina Press every year for this anthology!

This has four great Christmas stories from four of my favorite authors. I was so excited Jaci Burton gave us another story about the Kent brothers! (Fell in lust with those guys last year!) All four stories are sweet, loving, filled with emotion and perfect for this time of year.....or anytime!

I won this book thru a Goodreads contest and hgave been thrilled. All 4 stories were great. Two of the authors were new to me----Alison Kent and Jaci Burton. I would definitely pick up 1 of their books now. Thank you Goodreads for the book.

This is one of the better Christmas novella collections I have read this year. I enjoyed all of the stories and wished some of them were complete novels, as I really liked the stories and their characters. I look forward to reading more from some of these authors.

This Time Next Year (Alison Kent):
This was a really special story about two people forced together during a snow storm - Dillon, a veteran and a doctor, and Breena, a nurse visiting her grandmother. Each has their own issues they are de
This anthology is a group of stories that are all Christmas time stories. Really, they are lust stories that take place in December. I really liked the premise of several of them, but the amount of sex detracted from the story. I don't need to read all the details, you can close the door & I get the idea. I guess some people like stories like this, but not me. The writing was okay, but there was lots of swearing in addition to the sex. Really disappointing.

“Holiday Kisses” is composed by four different novellas, each written by a different author:

“This Time Next Year“ by Alison Kent - Brenna Keating is on her way to her grandmother’s house for Christmas before leaving for a year to do missionary work.
