As a yoga teacher I am especially aware of yoga life lessons presenting itself in every day moments. This book by Lauree Ostrofsky is filled with those moments and I found myself highlighting lines of the book to share with my students. But have no fear that this book comes off as preachy, prosaic, or formulaic. You'll feel yourself drawn into her story and recognizing those very same enlightening moments in your life (hopefully without all the medical maladies).

I read this short memoir after listening to the author speak at an event. It's pretty amazing what this woman survived, both physically and emotionally. I'm a little biased because I like the lady personally. This is an interesting and inspirational snapshot of her biggest life challenges to date, although as I was reading I wished for a bit more; more about her childhood and how her father was involved.
